Salt Lake City based alt rock band City Ghost has just shared their latest single. The song is called “Good News” and it is the first taste off of their upcoming EP Cause and Effect.
“Good News” is an emotional and relatable anthem all about the perils of mental health issues. Singer Sadie O’Neill is forthright, raw and authentic in her deception of past mental health issues, helping to show others they are not alone if they too are suffering. “The song ebbs and flows through themes of struggle and relief, and crisis and hope,” confides lead singer O’Neill. Highlighting catchy melodies, thunderous drums and shadowy alt rock guitars, “Good News” is a must listen and a strong debut off of their upcoming EP.
