Double BRIT Award winner Becky Hill teams up with UK electronic music legends Chase & Status on her latest single ‘Disconnect’ – a fiery, dance-floor filler that finds Hill on a mission to break free from the trials and tribulations of every day life.
Serving as the follow up to her recent collaboration with Lewis Thompson, “Side Effects” – which to Date has amassed over 20 million combined global streams and racked up over 49 million worldwide views on TikTok – the anthemic track is produced Chase & Status, and co-written by the singer along with long-term collaborator Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue, Mae Muller), and fellow British recording artist Emily Makis.
“A decade on from ‘Afterglow’ and I honestly didn’t think that I’d be able to do it again, but I have never been more excited about a drum ‘n’ bass tune like I am about ‘Disconnect’.” Becky says of the song. “It’s a true dance floor record that tows the line between the rave and the radio, and to be working with the likes of Chase & Status, who I have dreamed of working with since I was a teenager, is a real moment for me. It’s been going off at festivals over the last few months and I can’t wait for everyone to have it for themselves. I’m so proud of this one.”

Hill, who completed a sold-out tour of the U.S. last fall (her first!), is set to return to the States for Outside Lands (a music, food and art festival held annually in at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco) and a trio of headline shows later this year.
Dates include The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on August 10th, The Royale in Boston on October 5th, and New York City’s Brooklyn Steel on October 6th. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
