The team who made the most money in an allotted segment of time would win the prize of the week.

A Couple of different tactics were available to the entrepreneurs – they could either try and make more money by selling their products for higher prices, or hope that by reducing the cost the items would sell in larger quantities.

The Apprentice stars were left frantic by the challenge, and even usually calm and collected business people like Tre crumbled under the time pressure.

Viewers of the show were left appalled as bedlam broke loose on set, with Raj and Maura actually shouting over each other as they attempted to advertise their products as quickly as possible.

One person expressed that just watching the show was making them feel ill, writing: “The anxiety I have right now. I want to vomit.”

Another added: “What a corker of an episode it was tonight….so bad you can’t look away.”

A third groaned: “This is an absolute car crash.”

It seems Lord Sugar thought the same, as he decided to fire not one but two members of the losing team.

While he agreed that they all had a role to play in the sales not going as well as planned, the business mogul blamed Raj and Maura’s screaming for putting viewers off products.

He even said that the TV channel had received some complaints about their behaviour on screen.

As a result he fired both the mortgage broker and yoga teacher.
