Larry David is not one to mince words, especially when it comes to Donald Trump. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star skewers the former president in a clip from a forthcoming appearance on Max, calling the legally-embattled, likely Republican presidential nominee “such a little baby” and “such a sociopath.”

The comedian lays into the former president while appearing as a guest on the Friday, March 29 episode of CNN’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on Max. In the clip teasing the episode, host Chris Wallace asked David how often he thinks about the 2020 election and how much it pisses him off—prompting David to go on a tirade against Trump, who infamously denied the results of that election, galvanizing the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol

“I mean, you can’t go a day without thinking about what he’s done to this country,” David said. “He’s such a little baby that he’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of an election.” As he continued, David began to work himself up, sitting more upright in his chair as he became increasingly passionate. “It’s crazy,” he continued. “He’s such a sociopath. He’s so insane.”

David then homed in on Trump’s repeated insistence that he defeated President Joe Biden in the 2020 election. “He just couldn’t admit to losing, and we know he lost. He knows he lost,” said David. “He’s fooled everybody. He’s convinced all these people that he didn’t lose. He’s a such a sick man.”

David’s ire for Trump and his pals is well documented. In 2021, David screamed at former Trump lawyer Alan Dershowitz while grocery shopping on Martha’s Vineyard, after David saw Dershowitz put his arm around Trump’s former CIA director Mike Pompeo. “Your whole enclave — it’s disgusting,” David told Dershowitz. “You’re disgusting!” Dershowitz confirmed the interaction to Variety, saying that David “called me disgusting, and he said he could never talk to me. Here’s a guy who used to come to our house to work out in the gym. He would come to our house for dinner two or three times a summer.”

David is currently starring in the final season of his long-running and beloved HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the former president is gearing up for another election cycle while simultaneously facing multiple charges for his handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, two cases regarding the election, one federal and the other involving Fulton County, Georgia, and currently preparing for a trial in New York pertaining to alleged hush-money payments he sent to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

David ended his CNN screed with a succinct summation of how he feels about Trump. “He’s so sick,” he said. As always, the comedian topped it off with the perfect button: “Anyway, no, it hasn’t impacted me at all.”
