CELEBRITY Big Brother star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu will NOT have a romance with Strictly hunk Nikita Kuzmin, insists her Towie legend pal Lauren Goodger.
Lauren, 37, lives next door to 29 year-old Ekin in Essex and has a friendship with the Turkish actress turned reality star.

And in an exclusive chat with The Sun, Lauren has dismissed X Factor judge Louis Walsh‘s comments in Monday night’s episode that there was a spark between Ekin-Su and Ukranian professional dancer Nikita.
Asked if she thinks a romance is on the cards, Lauren responded: “I doubt it. I don’t think he is going to go on television and form a Relationship if he has a girlfriend, and I don’t know if Ekin is ready for that, she hasn’t spoken about it to me.
“I don’t think Ekin would get involved with anyone with a girlfriend either. She hasn’t gone in for that. This is a career move and an experience.”
That said, Lauren admitted she was hoping the show would send in someone to take her pal’s fancy.
She said: “It’s a shame, I was watching it with my mum and saying, ‘I really hope there is a young hot guy that they put in for Ekin’. And they didn’t put anyone in, did they?!
“Back in the day, on the original Big Brother, it was all Relationships forming with young people and all that going on, especially with the alcohol. But this one, they haven’t put anyone in, unless there are more people going in? I would love to see that!”
Romance aside though, Lauren believes the Celebrity Big Brother experience is just what her friend needs right now after her recent break-up with fellow Love Island champ Davide Sanclimenti.
“Everybody going through a break-up, especially in the public eye, it does take a toll,” Lauren explained. ” Imagine going through a breakup when that relationship is what you’re known for, then you break up and everybody’s talking about it, so you’re paranoid.
” I think, hopefully, she’s gonna show who she really is. I think at the minute she’s a little bit vulnerable. This show will do her good and give her that confidence. She is Ekin in her own right now. When you come out of Love Island, you come out as a Couple and you lose your identity.”
Lauren and Ekin’s connection goes way back, although the pair only became pals in recent months.
“She is a really sweet girl. She went to my school but I don’t remember her because I was older. When she moved in she text me and asked if I had a spare charger. I knew she was going on Big Brother and I knew about her break-up. We have got each other if we need each other.”
Asked about Ekin’s recent comments that she has few friends and often feels lonely, Lauren is surprised.
“She does say that, but she is such a nice girl, so I wouldn’t know why. I want her to win really, I want her to do it for the Essex girls!”
As for Louis, who stirred things up in the house by suggesting a connection between Ekin and Nikita, Lauren has his cards marked.
“Louis doesn’t seem very happy,” she claimed. “He seems a bit above it. He was like, ‘I’m here, I’ve got privilege.’ The bossing around over the bed – what was that about? It was like he was telling a child off.
“Lauren [Simon] handled it really well, I thought she would snap at him. He wants to be the boss. But with Louis, it’s early days and I’m sure, once he settles in, he will be cool and fun to watch.”
