CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are in shock after discovering Louis Walsh’s real name.
The X Factor legend has been a fixture in pop culture for three decades but his birth name is very different to the one music and TV fans know him as.

The 71-year-old boy band manager is actually called Michael Vincent Walsh, however, prefers to use the name Louis.
It’s caused quite a lot of head scratching over the years, with one person saying on X: “Can’t believe Louis Walsh’s real name is Michael.”
Another posted: “I didn’t know Louis Walsh’s real name is Michael.”
The Irish star was in his forties when he first found fame and started making big money.
He switched from managing struggling rock bands to becoming a big hitter in the world of pop after being inspired by a Take That gig.
He set about making an Irish version of the group by placing ads in newspapers and the line-up – Michael Graham, Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch and Ronan Keating – ended up being Boyzone.
Later in the 90s he began managing Westlife, initially alongside Keating, and the group has since achieved numerous chart-topping singles and albums and have sold over 55 million records.
So far in the CBB house, Louis is proving to be quite the rogue with catty comments galore and diva style demands.
He stated bluntly that Coronation Street‘s Craig Tinker “has got big ears” while he and Sharon Osbourne judged from their secret lair.
He also chucked Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon out of the big double bed, yelling: “No that’s mine.
“Out. That’s mine. Up, up, up. That’s mine,”
Louis also brutally said “I didn’t need to see that” after David Potts, from Ibiza Weekender, showed off his legs in very small hot pants.
Former housemate Psychic Sally has had her say on his behaviour, telling the Sun: “When I look at Louis Walsh you know as much as everybody loves Louis, I think he’s being very mischievous and very precious.
“I do think that he’s checking himself. He’s listening to what he has said.
“He’s watching their reactions and then he’s thinking, ‘oh, maybe I shouldn’t have been as hard on that person’, or ‘maybe I should have been kinder’ but you know, at the end of the day we want people to be genuine, and Louis being genuine at times, it isn’t nice…”
