Porsha Williams' Estranged Husband Simon Faces $814,000 Lawsuit Over Alleged Overdue Private Jet Bill as Andy Cohen Reacts to Split, Reveals If RHOA Producers Knew

Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, is facing a new lawsuit, claiming his company failed to pay for its use of a private jet.

Days after the Real Housewives of Atlanta star suddenly filed for divorce after just 15 months of marriage, and amid reports of Simon’s past fraud crimes and denied U.S. citizenship, it is being alleged that Simon’s company, Simcol Petroleum Limited Company, has an outstanding balance in the amount of $814,000 due to NetJets Aviation, Inc.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online on February 26, the lawsuit, which was first revealed by YouTube’s Tisa Tells, states that NetJets Aviation Inc. operates a “fractional aircraft program” and “engages in the business of selling and leasing fractional interests in private jets in the NetJets Fractional Program,” which provides use of the plane to multiple owners who are responsible for sharing costs.

In August 2020, the lawsuit explained, Simon’s company agreed to lease a Cessna Citation with 12.5% interest. The following year, in July 2021, the company agreed to up that number to 15.62%.

But, NetJets Aviation Inc. said in its January 26 filing that the defendants “breached the terms of the Program Agreement by failing to timely pay to Plaintiffs all amounts due under the Program Agreement, and Plaintiffs terminated the Program Agreement under its terms on or about February 28, 2023.”

“At the time of the termination of the Program Agreement, Defendant owed to Plaintiffs the amount of $974,213.11 under the terms of the Program Agreement,” the lawsuit continued.

In August 2023, the two companies made a deal in which Simon’s business agreed to make monthly payments until its past-due balance of $839,000 was settled. However, after making one payment of $25,000, the company stopped paying.

In its lawsuit, NetJets Aviation Inc. is requesting Simcol Petroleum Limited Company pay off its balance of $814,000, as well as interest, and that Simon be responsible for paying the legal bills accrued amid the case.

Simon has yet to respond.

Meanwhile, on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, Andy Cohen, 55, reacted to the news of Porsha and Simon’s breakup.

“Porsha announced last week that she is leaving Simon and I gotta tell you something, I was saying to the other producers of [RHOA], when the news started breaking about Simon and some of his immigration issues, I was like, “This is not…” I was so surprised. None of us knew any of this was on the horizon,” Andy admitted.

According to Andy, RHOA season 16 was expected to be a “happily ever after kind of victory lap season” for Porsha.

“I was so surprised and taken aback and listen, we wanted Porsha on the show for Porsha. We would take Porsha married, single, picking up the pieces of her life, on high, on low, however she wants, you know, however she’s gonna be, but we didn’t know,” he confirmed. “And this is really a big right turn from the story that I think all of us thought we would be telling, so sending love to Porsha.”

No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16.
