The Adidas Sambas might be a celeb-favourite, but Emma Watson has another pair on rotation; the Adidas Gazelles.
You don’t have to be a sneaker head to know that the Adidas Sambas are one of the most popular shoes among celebrities. Stars like Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie have sported the Sambas throughout the years.
Although the Sambas are certainly a celeb-favourite, it’s always interesting to see who will stray from the trends and find their own go-to sneakers. It seems Emma Watson was up for the challenge and her pick is the Adidas Gazelles.
While on the go during Milan Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2024, Watson sported a cool casual look that spotlighted her chic accessories. She wore a pair of classic blue jeans with a purple long-sleeve top and a timeless trench coat over it all. On her head, she wore a pair of sunglasses, and on her arm, she carried a Prada Re-Nylon bucket bag. And for the final detail, she wore a pair of navy blue and white Adidas Gazelles.

If this shoe doesn’t seem too unfamiliar, it might be because you’ve probably seen Watson in them before. In addition to wearing the Adidas Gazelle sneakers on the busy streets of Milan, Italy this week, she also wore them in a photoshoot for Financial Times last year. Now, that’s dedication! (And, rewearing clothes is also super sustainable, which happens to be one of Watson’s fortes when it comes to dressing!)
Watson was in Milan for the Prada Autumn-Winter 2024 show. There, she combined the coquette aesthetic and sheer trend, proving her unique sense of style.
Watson has been an ambassador for Prada for quite some time now. She directed and starred in Prada’s campaign for the Paradoxe perfume back in 2022. In January 2024, she became an ambassador for Prada’s new Re-Nylon campaign that focused on sustainability.
As Watson continues to make her mark in the fashion and beauty industry, we’re looking forward to seeing how she continues to put her own twist on trends in the future. In the meantime, we’ll be eyeing some Adidas Gazelles for ourselves.
