“As far as when Steve and I got together, he had a whole other idea of what he was planning on doing after his divorce. He was planning on having an arrival and departure schedule on his door and when you got there you signed in…and then the next one, she leave and then the next one comes in…I said ‘that’s fine, but my name ain’t gone be on that list.’”

Adding:

‘It’s one of those things; once you know what you want, and if he wants you, then he knows what it’s gonna take for you.”

In a subsequent post, the 66-year-old shared a video tribute titled “10 Times Majorie Was #Style Goals”, writing the caption:

“Is it any surprise that I wake up grateful and happy every day?”

Reports about Majorie’s alleged Affair began sweeping the internet over the weekend. Though the rumors have seemed to be be mostly baseless, with it even being unclear where the whispers began, it appears the story may have originated somewhere in Africa. Coupled with the fact that there has been mostly Africa based social media users reacting to the news, Nigerian philanthropist and politician, Prince Ned Nwoko says he spoke to his “friend” who confirmed he and his partner are doing just fine. Sharing a picture of himself with Steve and Majorie, he wrote:

“Fake news has been taken to new heights all over the world and this is so unfortunate. We experience this practically everyday and so when we read about our friend Steve Harvey and his lovely wife having issues, we had to contact Him and He confirmed that he and his wife are very much okay and it’s all fake news and should be disregarded. The family is happy together and we wish them all the best”

Wherever the rumors started, it seems not everyone is bought into the hype. While some social media users opted to make light of the situation – sharing memes and making jokes, others disregarded the story as a hoax, and condemned any spreading the seemingly false narrative.

Neither Steve nor Majorie have directly commented on the rumors at this time.
