Roomies, it’s with heavy hearts that we share that actor Angus Cloud has passed away at the age of 25. According to TMZ, he reportedly passed away at his family’s home in Oakland, California.
Not only did the actor celebrate his birthday on July 10, but sadly he had to bury his father a few weeks after.
Angus Cloud’s Family Release A Statement On His Passing, No Confirmation On His Cause Of Death
In his family’s exclusive statement to the outlet, they open up about Angus’ battle with mental health. Additionally, they revealed that the actor has been struggling with the recent passing of his father.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways — Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend…”
Additionally, the Cloud family encouraged fans to remember Angus for his humor and love for everyone. The actor’s cause of death has not been revealed. However, his family is asking for privacy in their time of grief.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
It is to be noted that on July 14, Cloud took to his Instagram account to share a brief message to his father following his passing.
“miss u breh,” the 25-year-old wrote at the time.
