Bethenny Frankel SLAMS Lenny Hochstein Over Proposal to Mistress Katharina Mazepa
Bethenny Frankel is “Team Lisa” Hochstein in the wake of the reality star’s estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein’s engagement to model, Katharina Mazepa.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum took to social media Sunday to fire off commentary about the plastic surgeon’s “bargain basket” proposal.
Bethenny said — “Seeing pictures of Lenny Hochstein getting engaged is like being on the checkout line and seeing that bargain basket bin of, like, 75 cent and three dollar things where you might find something but usually don’t.”
“People named Lenny Hochstein and their engagements aren’t sexy,” she declared.
The outspoken businesswoman added that she planned to “watch the entire post” when Lisa Hochstein “and her hot guy, [Jody Glidden], get engaged.”
The SkinnyGirl mogul’s followers cheered her on in the comment section for having Lisa’s back.
The Real Housewives of Miami star offered a snarky comeback after her soon-to-be ex told his Instagram followers that he had popped the question to his girlfriend.
“Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement,” the 41-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story.
Lisa Hochstein revealed that she had shared an “incredibly romantic dinner” with Glidden before news of the engagement broke.
Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years in May 2022. Lenny and Lisa share two children together, son, Logan and 3-year-old daughter, Elle.
The estranged Couple is still legally married.
Lenny and Lisa were embroiled in a headline-grabbing divorce war for months before striking a settlement deal in June, per court documents obtained by Page Six.
Fan reaction to Lenny and Mazepa’s engagement was mixed, but the surgeon’s mother made it clear that she was thrilled to hear the news.
“I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who love and respect you,” Marina Hochstein wrote in an Instagram comment section. “You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage.”
Lisa hit back, calling her mother-in-law “disgusting.”
Mazepa made headlines last week after she claimed that Lenny had tossed Lisa’s mom and aunt out of his house because antisemitic remarks were spewed inside the family home.
Lisa responded to the report, telling Page Six that Lenny and his girlfriend’s “lies” were nothing new.
“They can say all they want, as they usually do. … Remember, this is not the first time Lenny has gotten caught on video showing his true ugly colors, and just as expected, and like last time, they respond with lies,” Lisa said, recalling Lenny’s “hot mic” moment exposed on the Peacock show.
Lenny reportedly tossed his mother-in-law and her sister from his home in front of his kids after the ladies called him out for allowing Mazepa to wear lingerie around the siblings.
The 27-year-old model insisted that she was “dressed appropriately” around the children.
Mazepa also alleged that Lisa had a “personal vendetta” against her, and that she was trying to put an end to the “narcissistic victim mentality campaign of vitriol.”
