Carlos Alcaraz made history when he won the US Open in 2022, and he celebrated the special occasion with a Tattoo.

The 20-year-old Spanish tennis pro became the youngest No. 1 tennis player in history when he pulled off the win on September 11. He’s only continued soaring to new heights since then, securing his 100th win in March 2023 and emerging victorious at Wimbledon in July.

In a new interview, Carlos revealed the special way that he celebrated his win at the US Open and teased similar plans for if he were to secure the win again this year.

“I had a dinner with all the people that were here watching, and I got a tattoo as well,” Carlos told People about celebrating his win last year.

The tattoo in question is located above his elbow and commemorates the date of his victory – “11.09.22.” You can see it in the photo below!

He said that he would “probably” get another tattoo if he wins this year since it’s “the best” way to remember the occasion. Well, that and getting some rest.

“For me, the best thing to do after a good victory is just to spend time at home with your family, friends that you are not usually with during the year,” Carlos explained. “So just spending time with them at home.”
