Zombies fans are about to rejoice as Disney has animated the fan-favorite series!
ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts, according to JustJaredJr.com, are the perfect way to catch up with the gang from Seabrook.
So just what can fans expect from the new series of animated shorts? Well, take a look at a brief synopsis below.
The new shorts series gives a glimpse at the every day lives of the Seabrook crew as they encounter new monsters — a carnivorous plant monster, horrifying mega-cricket and even evil clones — while dealing with school and new experiences like a never-ending summer time loop.
And of course, in addition to all of the action, ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Short will feature some killer new music as well.
Reprising their roles for the animated shorts are all of Seabrooks’s favorite actors and actresses, which include: Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Ariel Martin, Chandler Kinney, Pearce Joza, Carla Jeffery, Trevor Tordjman, Jonathan Langdon, James Godfrey, Kylee Russell and Terry Hu.
If you are unfamiliar with this vast “Zombieland,” then let us catch you up on the franchise. Zombies is a Disney movie trilogy that captivated viewers of all ages.
When Zombies 3 hit the airwaves in 2021, Judy Taylor, senior vice president, Casting, Disney Branded Television said to Deadline in an interview that, “Our Zombies franchise has created a remarkable connection with kids everywhere, thanks in large part to the characters’ optimistic and relatable attributes that help them build identity, overcome obstacles and foster an inclusive community.”
She continued saying that, “The story in this installment further develops those same themes with the introduction of new outsiders played by a talented and diverse group of actors.”
And now, they have taken it a step further with this new animated series.
ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Shorts premiered today, Friday, July 21. The shorts are now available on the Disney Channel, Disney Channel YouTube, and DisneyNOW. The animated series will soon be available to stream on Disney+.
