Teddi Mellencamp Remains Silent on Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade’s Lesbian Affair, Keeping the Secret Under Wraps!
Kyle Richards shared a girls night out with friend and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Teddi Mellencamp, amid her rumored separation from husband, Mauricio Umansky.
The gal pals joined a few other friends for dinner at West Hollywood hotspot, Craig’s, on Friday night. The Bravo star stepped out in an all denim ensemble, rocking a low cut blazer and jeans. Kyle, 54, accessorized her look with a long diamond necklace and black boots. Teddi, 42, wore a bright yellow blazer, a satin yellow blouse, cropped jeans and white heels. She topped off the look with several silver necklaces.
Kyle Richards was later photographed in the driver’s seat of her car with Teddi Mellencamp riding shotgun.
The outing came a week after news broke that the RHOBH veteran had separated from her husband of 27 years. An insider told People that the “amicable” Couple had “been separated for a while now [while] living under the same roof.” Kyle and the “Buying Beverly Hills” star tied the knot in 1996 and share three daughters together — Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Kyle also has a 34-year-old daughter, Farrah, from her marriage to first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
The couple put out a joint statement only hours later, denying that they were headed for divorce.
“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,” Kyle and Mauricio wrote in joint statements on Instagram last week. “There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately.While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
The reality TV couple has yet to ditch their wedding rings amid the swirling divorce rumors. Fans began speculating that Kyle was romantically involved with country singer, Morgan Wade, after taking notice of the ladies’ matching tattoos. Morgan also has a “K” inked on her body in Kyle’s handwriting, but the mom of four has insisted that she shares only a close friendship with the singer.
Teddi Mellencamp has taken heat from fans for refusing to address the rumors on her podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod.”
“We have one more ‘Housewives’ headline you guys, I’m sure, are expecting me to cover,” she said during Friday’s episode.
“I just wanted to say that we came up with the decision — myself, [co-host] Tamra Judge, iHeart, my producers — that everybody has their boundaries, and this is mine,” the podcaster continued.
“Kyle and Mauricio and their kids are like my family. I love them so much. I understand exactly what my job is here on this podcast and it’s to go down all the rabbit holes. And I think 99 percent of the time, that’s quite easy for me because it’s people I don’t know.”
Fans were quick to label Teddi a “hypocrite” because she frequently speaks out about various “Housewives” divorces on her podcast.
