Social media users have been cutting up after a video surfaced of R&B singer Ne-Yo holding hands with two women in Miami, Florida.

Video Shows Ne-Yo Hand In Hand With Two Women

On Monday, footage surfaced of the “Miss Independent” singer on Instagram. The video was reportedly shared by an Instagram user, @jaz2finee. In the footage, the singer could be seen walking down a street in South Beach, Miami, Florida.

As Ne-Yo walked past the person who appeared to be recording, the person exclaimed, “Hey, Ne-Yo!”

The singer appeared to respond by saying hello, putting his hand to his chest, and saluting in a greeting gesture.

As Ne-Yo walked past the camera, a woman could be seen alongside him while another walked directly behind him. Both women were apparently holding hands with the 43-year-old.

Social media users wasted no time sharing their reaction to the footage of Ne-Yo, also shared on The Shade Room. Some users reflected on their current perception of the singer as opposed to the image they made of him due to his R&B catalog.

Instagram user, @baja_belle, wrote.

“Remember when everyone thought Neyo was so respectful to women because what he sang in his songs but now just look at him!😂😂😂”

While another user, @aworkingwardrobe, added.

“I never thought the man who wrote ‘Irreplaceable’ would later live the lyrics.”

Meanwhile, user @lowkey_on_the_gram was added.

While another Instagram user, @bodyby_z, made a joke referencing the singer’s hit single, “So Sick.”

One Instagram user, diamondrenee___, applauded the singer for his assumed preference for polygamy.

While another user took, @just_call_me_sunshine___, took their stance a step further.

Ne-Yo Previously Spoke On His Dating Life & Addressed Critics

In May, the 43-year-old singer took to social media to address critics of his dating life, as reported by The Shade Room. At the time, Ne-Yo explained that public opinion doesn’t “mean anything to him.”

“I just need the whole world to understand this. Your opinions of me and my personal life don’t mean ANYTHING to me. My kids love me. My women love me. My future is bring as f**k. I don’t even have tome to concern myself with what y’all think. I feel like the father in ‘The Nutty Professor.’ You really think I be listening to you. Ion be listening to you.”

Additionally, he added that he comes from the “Omarion school of unbotheredness.”

“I might come from the Omarion school of unbotheredness. I hope everybody that needs to see this sees it. Cause I’ve already wasted too much time trying to let y’all know. Feel how you wanna feel about me, Imma still sleep good as hell tonight and every night following. Meanwhile you mad cause I’m living. How’s that working out for you?”

Before this, Ne-Yo came under public criticism after speaking exclusively with TMZ and explaining that he was “dating” and in a “happy place” despite his divorce from his wife of eight years, Crystal Renay.

“I’m in a space where I’m happy. I’m in a happy place, so I’m dating now — I don’t give a d**n. I’m good.”

Around the same time, Ne-Yo was also spotted out with the woman he allegedly cheated on Renay and fathered two children with during their marriage, Sade Bagnerise.

Since then, the singer has filed to establish paternity of the two children as Bagnerise has alleged that she’s apologized to Renay for her role in the breakdown of their marriage. Additionally, Bagnerise adds that the singer is reportedly experiencing a “mid-life crisis.”
