Lizzy quit filming Season 14 after she was slammed by what she called “a torrent of antisemitic attacks.”

Bravo announced that Lizzy, wife to surgeon Dr. Ira Savetsky and a mom of three, had signed on to the revamped reality series, at BravoCon 2022. She later dropped out amid what she labeled “a torrent of antisemitic attacks” that began after the network announced the new cast.

Erin was asked to weigh in on what happened to Lizzy during Bravo’s Season 14 premiere bash.

“It’s horrible,” Lichy told PEOPLE last week. “I’m Israeli and I’m very proud of being Jewish and it’s despicable. And it still is happening. It shouldn’t happen to any group of people at all.”

Erin did not reveal if she had been in contact with her former cast mate in the months since she left the show. Lizzy, a digital influencer, made no reference to the RHONY premiere on social media.

Lizzy moved to New York City from her native Fort Worth, Texas to attend college and later returned after a brief time at home. She operates her own matchmaking service, Bashert, which helps Jewish people find love.

Lizzy noted that she was a “proud orthodox Jewish woman” when she  announced that she was leaving RHONY. She added that she had hoped for  opportunity to represent people of her faith on the reality show.

“As [the attacks] continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family,” Lizzy said in a statement, in November 2022.

The network supported Lizzy’s decision to walk away.

“After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on RHONY,” Bravo said in a statement at the time.

Bravo recast the series after the network decided to fire the current cast amid crashed ratings and social media backlash.

“From fashion and real estate, to philanthropy and social influence, these women have made their mark in NYC and will now share their lives as they juggle careers, family life and jam-packed social calendars in the city that never sleeps,” the network said.
