Kelly Stafford is intercepting the recent speculation surrounding her health.
The wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is setting the record straight regarding rumors she has cancer, which emerged after she spoke about being concerned about stomach pains.
“There is a bunch circulating right now and want to reiterate that I DO NOT HAVE CANCER,” Kelly wrote on Instagram July 24. “If journalists actually took time to check facts these days, they would know this. I’m infuriated. Most the time I wouldn’t care what people wrote because it didn’t matter.”
However, the 34-year-old—who shares four girls, 6-year-old twins Chandler and Sawyer, as well as Hunter, 5, and Tyler 3, with Matthew—explained that these kinds of rumors are harmful to people actually dealing with major health issues.
“This matters because it takes away from the people who are fighting this horrible disease,” she continued, “fighting to live another day, fighting to be there with the ones they love, fighting 24/7.”
Kelly went on to ask for people to spend their time praying for those who need it.
