Surprise! Not only are LaKeith Stanfield and model Kasmere Trice now a married Couple, but the pair have also welcomed their first child together, People reported exclusively on July 26. The publication notes that the two, who Dating-48962765″ class=”ga-track” data-ga-category=”internal click” data-ga-label=”https://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/lakeith-stanfield-kasmere-trice-dating-48962765″ data-ga-action=”body text link”>got engaged in December 2022, tied the knot quietly and have since started their family.

“We’ve manifested this beautiful family,” Stanfield shared, adding, “I want to spend the rest of my life with [Trice].”

The actor’s wife told People of their new addition, “We decided early on we wanted to protect our baby as much as we can for as long as possible.” She and Stanfield are holding off on sharing their baby’s name for now, as the latter added, “Being in the public eye can be something that’s amazing, but it can also be something that is very hard on you. There needs to be things that exist that are sacred and not for consumption for everybody.”

Though the two have always kept details about their Relationship private, Stanfield said of speaking out now, “We want to be the ones to tell our story. We’re bringing our family forward so we may inspire others.”

Stanfield is already a dad to two other kids under age 7 from past Relationships, per People, while Trice is a first-time mom. Trice shared that she’s enjoyed watching the “Haunted Mansion” actor navigate parenthood so far with his girls. “I’m really honored that I got to see the father in [him] before I was even having our baby,” she said. Stanfield, meanwhile, noted that being a parent in the spotlight hasn’t always been easy. “Sometimes, when things can get difficult, you have to remember that what’s most important is the child,” he said, “and that we’re pushing ourselves to grow, so we can reflect back to them the good things.”
