Keith will be delighted to have them both on his show as he has been seen in the Strictly audience on a number of occasions in the past.

Now the star – real name Leigh Francis – has revealed to The Sun’s TV Mag whether he would take to the dance floor himself one year.

The 50-year-old said: “Every time I go to support a friend that’s doing it there will be a producer that creeps up at the side of me and says: ‘Do you fancy having a go?’ I have been asked for this series, but obviously I said no.

“It’s too hard and I’m too old to do hard things, I just want to do easy things. I want to enjoy myself and have a lovely time, I know that’s having my cake and eating it but I’m old enough to have my cake and eat.

“Strictly looks too hard and I wouldn’t want anyone to be affected
by my beauty and fall victim to the curse and throwing themselves at me.”

Keith also answered whether he would join Ant and Dec in Australia and go on hit reality ITV show I’m A Celebrity.

He said: “No, I mean a lot of people tell me how great the jungle is as well. What a great experience it is and how you should do it, but I’ll be honest with you, I don’t want to lay in a ditch full of snakes or eat a donkey’s d***.”

This comes after the comedian revealed where he got his alter-ego name from.

Leeds-born Leigh appeared on Good Morning Britain and explained that the Keith Lemon name came from his best friend who he had known since they were just three years old.

He revealed: “I said to him, ‘I’ll say your name on TV’, and he said ‘How are you going to do that?’ I said ‘I’ll give a character your name!’ and then… This happened!”

“Back then, he used to carry a picture of me in his wallet to prove that he were a friend, it looks weird, it looks like we’re Lovers!”

Shopping with Keith Lemon is available to watch in ITVX. TV Mag is available every Saturday for free, only in The Sun.
