Craig Conover took to his podcast on Tuesday, where he addressed Sonja Morgan‘s claims that the two of them had a “tête-à-tête” during BravoCon in New York City.
After the 59-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum made the statement on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, the 34-year-old Southern Charm cast member denied kissing her and claimed the two of them haven’t crossed paths in many years.
“No, we haven’t kissed,” Craig confirmed to co-host Austen Kroll on the July 11 episode of Pillows and Beer, via Daily Mail. “I haven’t seen her in like five years.”
Although Craig made it clear that nothing physical happened between the two of them, he spoke highly of her on his show.
“Sonja has always been a funny friend to have. She’s aggressive, she’s a bundle of fun, but no, Sonja and I have not kissed. Sonja was just having fun on Watch What Happens,” he shared, noting that it was a “compliment” that Sonja remembered their platonic interaction with one another.
As fans may recall, Sonja and Craig appeared together on WWHL in 2017, where the RHONY alum didn’t hesitate to get flirty with the Charmer, despite the fact that he was Dating now-ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo, 30, at the time.
“He’s very intuitive and he’s really smart. He can sew. He can garden, he’s having a great time,” she gushed, claiming that Craig was the only cast member of his show with a “stiff d-ck.”
According to Craig, he believes it would’ve been “fun” to make out with Sonja, but he noted that he would “remember” if he did.
Although Sonja never actually said that she and Craig got physical, Craig’s current girlfriend, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo, 30, wasn’t bothered by her comment. In fact, she was amused, joking that she was “peeeeing [her] pants” after coming across a clip of the WWHL episode on Instagram.
And after Sonja said on WWHL that she “did” Craig, claiming the two of them “had a little tête-à-tête,” Luann de Lesseps recalled a past run-in with Austen.
“We hung out once at BravoCon and we kinda exchanged phone numbers … So call me, darling,” Luann told him. “We swapped numbers.”
