The highly teased love triangle between Daisy Kelliher, Colin Macrae, and Gary King is finally amping up on season four of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. As viewers head into the second half of the season, Daisy is revealing what led to her hookup with Colin, how she feels about Gary’s jealousy, and how things are with Colin today.
As the course of season four has progressed, so has Daisy and Colin’s mutual flirtation. Daisy said she knew she and Colin were going to cross the line romantically from the start.
“We both knew it was going to happen,” the veteran chief stew told PEOPLE. “I think the two of us kind of leaned into it.”
However, before she and Colin finally had their moment, Daisy shared an on-screen kiss with co-star Alex Propson in the yacht’s infamous hot tub. She added that though “it was like a drunken Truth or Dare” and it “meant nothing,” Colin was “still thrown by it.”
“I think it stopped Colin from making a move on me earlier, which I was really surprised by,” Daisy said. “I think that stalled mine and Colin’s Relationship quite a bit.”
Daisy’s relationship, or lack thereof, with her close friend Gary is also throwing a wrench in her romance with Colin. During episode nine of the series, Daisy revealed to Colin that she and Gary had “hooked up” more than once despite both of them Dating-rumors-their-steamy-hot-tub-kiss-and-where-they-stand-now-ahead-of-the-upcoming-season-premiere/”>repeatedly denying it in the past. As a result, Daisy teased that her and Colin’s dalliance will become more “turbulent” and “complicated.”
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Daisy asserted that she feels Colin “mishandled” telling Gary about their makeout session, adding that she was “annoyed” with the chief engineer.
“My take on [Colin’s conversation with Gary] was that [Gary] was quite clearly not okay with it,” Daisy explained to Andy. “He was very uncomfortable. He clearly wasn’t going to be like, ‘Oh, Daisy’s mine, don’t go near her,’ so I was a little annoyed at Colin—I think Colin misrepresented [it] more.”
Still, Daisy said that Gary’s jealousy was a treat for her as she enjoys the attention.
“Yeah, always,” Daisy told Andy after he asked if there “was any part of her that was enjoying being with Colin because it was annoying Gary.”
“Not because it was Gary as a person, I just really enjoy making boys jealous,” she coyly responded.
“Eagle-eyed” Below Deck fans have noticed that Daisy unfollowed Colin on social media, and when asked where the pair stands today, Daisy hinted at some spicy reunion drama that’s to come at the season’s end.
“I am going to leave it to the reunion,” Daisy teased before noting that she feels Colin has “a lot to answer for.”
“I feel like he does,” she expressed. “I have a lot of love for Colin, [but] things are complicated, and I don’t need complication on my social media.”
