Emily Blunt is a vision in red while hosting the American Institute for Stuttering 17th Annual Gala on Monday (June 12) in New York City.
The 40-year-old actress looked very chic in a long-sleeved dress with matching heels on the red carpet at the event. She wore her hair down and kept her Makeup neutral.
Before hosting the gala, Emily went viral for some comments she made about the advice that she’d like to give the parents of young girls hoping to become Hollywood stars.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar UK, Emily admitted that her “toes curl” when she is told that someone’s daughter is hoping to pursue acting.
“I want to say, don’t do it,” she told the outlet. “Because it’s a hard industry and it can be very disappointing. A lot of people tell you not to take things personally – but it’s completely personal, especially when you’re being judged on how you look. So you just have to endure that side of things.”
