Ariana Madix was targeted with a bizarre rumor on Reddit earlier this week after a series of ultrasound photos were spotted in the background of a video shared by Dayna Kathan.
After celebrating her birthday with a meal cooked for her by new beau Daniel Wai, Redditors wondered if the Vanderpump Rules cast member was expecting, which prompted one of her friends to speak out on Scheana Shay‘s podcast.
On the June 30 episode of Scheananigans, recapped by a Vanderpump Rules fan page on Instagram, Janet Elizabeth and Scheana spoke of Tattoo-and-shares-smooch-with-dayna-kathan/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Ariana’s new man. They gushed over the New York-based fitness trainer, with Janet saying she loves him and finds him to be very modest and Scheana admitting she’s “obsessed.”
Janet also said that Ariana seems genuinely happy and “at ease” with Daniel and revealed he texted her the day after Ariana’s birthday to thank her for allowing him to use her kitchen for their birthday dinner.
As for the Reddit rumor, Janet said the ultrasound photos seen behind Ariana and Daniel in Dayna’s post belonged to her.
“We were at my house in my kitchen and … people were taking pictures of Dan cooking and Ariana and Dan kind of together. There was specifically one that Dayna posted of them like, hugging in the kitchen, I think it was after she saw the menu and Reddit zoomed in on my fridge where I have all my ultrasound photos and they trying to leave an Easter egg,” Janet explained, via Rate My Bravo on Instagram.
After Janet’s husband, Jason Caperna, came across the Reddit drama, he told her about it.
“He’s like, ‘Oh my God. Read these comments.’ Everyone is looking at our ultrasound photos and thinking it’s at Ariana’s house or something.’ I was like, ‘People know what her kitchen looks like,’” Janet recalled.
Then, after Scheana suggested people may have assumed Ariana had moved out of her shared home with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval, who infamously cheated on her with friend Raquel Leviss, Janet confirmed there was no truth to the bizarre rumor.
“I hate to break it to all of my fellow Redditors, but those were my ultrasound photos, not Ariana’s. They just happened to be cooking and kissing in front of them,” she stated.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is currently in production and expected to air on Bravo later this year or early next year.
