Drake is trying to send Kim Kardashian a message with his latest song!! That’s what a lot of fans would say, anyway.

In case you didn’t know, the 36-year-old rapper dropped a new track called Search & Rescue on Thursday. There has been a lot of buzz about the song over the past week – mainly because Drake used a Kim look-alike in the cover art for the new single AND sampled a line from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Around the one-minute mark, you can hear the mom of four talking with Kris Jenner about her divorce from Kanye West:

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that.”

So obvi fans started to believe Drake was trying to get a dig at the 45-year-old rapper amid their longtime feud — which innerestingly enough started over rumors that the actor and Kim once hooked up. But apparently, there’s more to it! Because not only do people believe Drake was trolling his nemesis, but they now think he was professing his love for Kimmy Kakes too! Why is that? After the part where Kim discusses her divorce with her 67-year-old momager, the song jumps back to Drake rapping:

“I don’t really know how to confess my love / Really seem like God wanna test my love for you / Don’t know how to express my love / That’s why I American Express my love for you / I need you, yeah, I really do, tell me what to do.”

In the chorus of the track, the Degrassi alum also sings about how he’s ready to settle down and thinks about one person all the time:

“I need someone to be patient with me / Someone to get money, would not take it from me / They don’t even need to be as famous as me / I don’t think I meet ’em at the places I be / But deep down I think about you all day, mami / I know I’m a pitbull, but dale, mami / I just wanna take you on a holiday, mami / Say what’s on your mind, I’m a call away, mami.”

While Drake does not mention anyone by name, people immediately believed he was potentially confessing his romantic feelings for Kim! Considering the lyrics, the cover art, and the Keeping Up lines, it is possible that fans are right! Who knows! Ch-ch-check out some of the Twitter reactions to the song (below):

“Drake just confess his love for kim in this song or am i trippin?”

“Favourite drake song that ive heard in a while and he’s confessing his love for kim kardashian”

“So is Drake and Kim Dating now?”

“Drake is searching for real love this time I guess. Could he be looking to be with KimKardashian?”

“How is no one realizing that the drake song is a love letter to Kim Kardashian”

“Nowwwwwwww is Kanye gonna give Drake the Pete Davidson treatment…? Drake is for sure an agent of chaos, cuz Kim K?”

There’s a good chance that Drake is trying to shoot his shot with Kim — or he’s just trying to rile up Kanye. But what do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Do you think this new song was a love letter to Kim? Sound OFF with your reactions in the comments below.
