After becoming an NCAA champ and having a brief stand-off with Jill Biden’s White House visit suggestion, Angel Reese has been named the highest projected earner in all of women’s college basketball!

On Tuesday, On3 Sports announced that Reese now has a NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) valuation of $1.3 MILLION! As a result, the 20-year-old LSU Tigers athlete is projected to be the highest-earning women’s college basketball star.

In addition to this million-dollar valuation, Reese—aka the “Bayou Barbie”—is also noted to have gained over 2 million social media followers “since the beginning of March Madness.”

A quick scroll through Reese’s Instagram shows that, from Bayou Barbie merch and NIL jerseys to a partnership with Raising Canes, she’s booked, busy, and doin’ her thang!

Angel Reese Previously Said She’s Making More Than Some Top WNBA Players

Speaking of Angel Reese gettin’ to the bag, we should add that she previously claimed that she’s actually touching more money than some top WNBA athletes!

During a post-championship sit-down on the, I Am Athlete podcast, Reese—a college sophomore—declared that she’s “in no rush” to join the WNBA.

“I’m not in a rush. I’m chillin’ right now…I’m in no rush to go to the league.”

She explained her stance by highlighting, “The money I’m making is more than some of the people that are in the league that might be top players.”

While on the subject of her coin, Reese also mentioned some upcoming purchases she has in mind, such as another car and some new digs.

“I’m making a purchase [within] these next two weeks. I’m getting a new car for sure, and I’m moving into a new place.”

When asked about what vehicle she had her eye on, she proclaimed that she wants to get her hands on a Mercedes-Benz. IKTR!

Last week, the athlete confirmed she’ll be visiting the White House with her LSU teammates after initially declining the invite. Jill Biden instigated the rejected invite after she suggested the runner-up team, Iowa Hawkeyes, should join the LSU Tigers on their honorary visit. President Biden has since made it clear that only the winning women’s and men’s NCAA champs will be on the visit.

Shoutout to Angel Reese! We can’t wait to see what else this young star accomplishes through her future pursuits.
