Joe Gorga said on the Relationship-with-dina-plus-danielle-confronts-rachel-jen-and-dolores-call-a-truce/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey that Luis Ruelas was responsible for the alleged demise of Teresa Giudice‘s friendship with Dina Manzo. But, according to a new report, he wasn’t being truthful.
After Joe suggested Teresa and Dina’s relationship came to an end due to a failed business deal between Luis and Dave, an insider spoke out against him, saying that his claims are “comical” and insisting that Luis and Dave are in a good place.
“There is no issue at all, zero issue,” a source told Page Six on April 5, adding that Dave “never” did any business with Luis and noting the two men are currently very “close.”
“There is no beef,” the source went on. “There are no issues.”
On Tuesday’s RHONJ, Joe said he received a call from Dave and noted his supposed failed business deal with Luis as “‘pizza gate‘ part two” in a nod to his own business deal gone wrong with Luis.
“It f-cked up another relationship in Teresa’s life,” he claimed.
As RHONJ fans will recall, rumors of tension between Teresa and Dina first began swirling last summer after Dina suddenly pulled out of Teresa and Luis’ wedding.
However, as rumors suggested something happened between Luis and Dave, insiders said Dina’s departure from the wedding plans were prompted by her not wanting to appear on camera.
“If the wedding wasn’t in New Jersey, Dina would have been there,” an insider explained at the time. “Dina did not want to be filmed at a wedding in New Jersey.”
Teresa and Luis’ rep, attorney James Leonard, also addressed the topic, saying Dina and Dave were “notoriously private” and “very guarded.”
“Anybody that knows them knows that,” the attorney explained. “They are people that are still very much involved in Luis [and Teresa’s] life. Just because it’s not playing out on camera, doesn’t mean otherwise.”
Following the sharing of the new information, Joe’s rep told Page Six, “Joe can’t comment on this at the moment as the reunion is being filmed soon.”
Amid Tuesday’s episode of RHONJ, Dina shared a quote from Yogi Bhajan that seemed to reference her potential feud with Teresa.
“If you are willing to look at another person’s behavior toward you as a reflection of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than a statement about your value as a person, then you will, over a period of time cease to react at all,” the quote said.
