Slam Dunk Festival is just around the corner with indie and punk Lovers set to gather in mass over the two-day event in Hatfield and Leeds.

Earlier this week organisers confirmed that tickets for the South event on Saturday, May 28 in Hertfordshire, just a short distance from London, had sold out. There are still a limited number of tickets available for the Temple Newsam event on Sunday, May 29.

There are 58 artists taking to the five stages in a bumper event for 2023 and fans who have copped their tickets already will be starting to meticulously plan their day out.

Getting that perfect schedule of acts and windows for vital food and toilet breaks is a notoriously difficult skill.

What each music lover wants to do with their day very much depends on who they’ve been streaming and digging in recent months.

Here at CelebMix, we’ve had a go at planning what we think is a pretty perfect schedule to keep you busy at Slam Dunk.

11:25 – 11:55 – The Tyne, Right Key

Sure it’s the weekend, sure you might want a lie-in and a leisurely afternoon arrival at Slam Dunk – but don’t miss out on The Tyne. The fledgling punksters have a fierce catalogue of hits already and are supporting Busted across arenas later this year – there also one of CelebMix’s Ones to Watch for 2023.

FOOD – Might be a chance to grab a quick bite here ahead of a busy afternoon, but Vukovi and Trash Boat are two to check out if you’re good to plough on.

13:45 – 14:15 – LØLØ, Right Key

There’s a lot to love about LØLØ whose rise from TikTok stardom to artist in her own right has been head-turning these last few years. We love ‘debbie downer’ and ‘THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!’.

15:10 – 15:45 – Wargasm, Rock Scene Stage

Wargasm know what they’re doing. The duo have won some big industry awards since bursting onto the scene in 2018 and pack a real punch. Not to be missed.

15:40 – 16:15 – Charlotte Sands, Left Key

With her trademark blue locks, Charlotte Sands will bring brilliant punk-pop to The Key Club stage. ‘Dress’ had its viral moment a Couple of years ago but the best of her work has come since then with tracks including ‘Want You Like That’ and new single ‘Six Feet Under’.

16:20 – 17:00 – NOAHFINNCE, Right Key

Obviously, you’ve got to catch NOAHFINNCE. All-round nice guy, the YouTube star has drummed up a fanatical following with his endearing tracks. Currently touring the US, the star is set for big Slam Dunk crowds.

FOOD – Get some tea in you, there’s a big night ahead. Although, Kids in Glass Houses are also playing if you want to eat on the go.

17:50 – 18:30 – Maggie Lindemann, Right Key

It’s crazy to think Maggie Lindemann is the voice behind hit song ‘Pretty Girl’ that did the business in the charts in 2016. Don’t be fooled by that sugary pop track, last year’s album SUCKERPUNCH is her at her darkest and most authentic.

18:30 – 19:15 – PVRIS, Rock Scene Stage

PVRIS aren’t new kids on the block and have a real pedigree about them. Lyn Gunn is one of the best live personalities out there.

19:40 – 20:30 – Bowling for Soup, Dickies Stage

It’s great to see Bowling for Soup on the Slam Dunk line-up for 2023. There might be a gem or two from this year’s cover album but expect plenty of original stuff too.

20:10 – 20:55 – The Hunna, Left Key

Expect huge choruses and one of the industry’s most distinctive voices in Ryan Potter from The Hunna. If you’ve not yet seen the band – who happen to be from Hertfordshire – don’t miss the chance.

21:00 – 22:15 – Enter Shikari, Rock Scene

Headliners for a reason, Enter Shikari have played huge sets all over the globe. This’ll be one to remember for Slam Dunk fans.

22:15 – 22:55 – DJ Fresh, Knotfest Stage

What a way to close the festival! DJ Fresh will play a late set at Slam Dunk. Take a scroll through his most streamed tracks online and you’ll know you don’t want to miss out.
