Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter unveiled an extended deluxe version of her 2022 studio album, titled “Emails I Can’t Send Fwd,” released on Friday, March 17, 2023, via Island Records/Universal Music Canada.
This latest album follows the release of her acclaimed fifth studio album, “Emails I Can’t Send” in 2022, spanning a multitude of hit singles such as “Skin,” “Skinny Dipping,” “Fast Times,” “Because I Loved A Boy,” “Vicious,” and “Nonsense.” The original release has 13 songs, and the deluxe edition comprises four additional previously unreleased songs for the album—”Opposite,” “Feather,” “Lonesome” and “Things I Wish You Said”—that build upon Sabrina’s most raw and vulnerable songwriting to Date.
Although, the singer has cleared that the set of new songs is not a “follow up to anything,” [but] rather new tracks that belong to her current era.
After months of teasing and waiting, fans finally felt relieved when Sabrina announced the deluxe album release on March 9, 2023, via her social media. Writing on Instagram, she said: “For those of you that found a little piece of yourselves in this album, think of these few new songs as my sincerest thank you to you.”
She added: “So much happened in this chapter of my life that it was really hard to put it to rest, and ultimately I couldn’t stop writing and still can’t. It’s not a follow-up to anything, it’s just a few songs that belong in the ‘Emails’ world for those of you who were kind enough to make this record feel so welcome and heard.”
At the end of her post, Carpenter teased fans they might get to hear the new tracks in her current tour.

You can now catch Sabrina on her world tour, as she kicks off the second leg of her North American tour alongside rising acts Spill Tab and Blu DeTiger. The singer kicked off the second leg at the Hard Rock Live Seminole in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, on March 16. She will visit several cities across the United States and Canada, like Austin, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and many more, as well as across Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto for the Canadian dates. Her last show would be at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on May 20, before embarking on her first-ever headline tour across the United Kingdom and Europe this June.
