As Perezcious readers will recall, we’ve been fascinated with the recent storyline surrounding Love Is Blind alum Bartise Bowden‘s shocking and unexpected rush into fatherhood. The Netflix alum — who infamously jilted poor Nancy Rodriguez at the altar in their not-so-fairytale run on the show — is now a zaddy a daddy to a baby boy named Aiden. But who’s the mom????

Well, the matriarchal mystery appears to have been solved. Sort of.
According to Life & Style, the mother to Bartise’s infant son is a 25-year-old woman named Olivia Gross. That outlet and Us Weekly both report Gross made all her social media channels private before the birth reveal, so there isn’t a ton to go on regarding her background. It’s not clear how she first met the 27-year-old reality TV alum or at what point their connection turned towards parenthood. But here they are!!
There’s another level to this, too. The Life & Style report added a very cryptic comment about how they first learned of Gross’ identity. According to the mag, Olivia’s name was revealed in court documents filed by Bartise on Monday of last week. Those docs, per the mag, center on “an open case pertaining to their newborn son.” On Tuesday night, Us Weekly corroborated that reporting. That outlet indicated Bowden “filed legal documents related to their bundle of joy” last week, and listed Gross as the baby’s mother.
But what documents are we talking about here?? Is there a paternity issue? Or custody concerns?! It’s not clear. As of Wednesday morning, the specific details of the court filing itself still have yet to be revealed. Like we said, more new questions…
We also have to wonder about the timing of all this. After LIB, Bartise surprised everyone by popping up early this year on Netflix’s Perfect Match, too. So did he leave Gross home and alone while Pregnant as he was filming, or what? The math ain’t mathin’ for us, y’all!
