As Real Housewives of Miami stars, Lisa Hochstein and estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein, continue to trade accusations and barbs in the public forum as well as in the courtroom while navigating a nasty divorce, Lisa is claiming that the “part time” salary she earns from RHOM is “woefully insufficient” to care for the Couple’s children, Logan, 6 and Elle, 3.
In October 2022, Lenny claimed that Lisa makes $30,000 per episode of RHOM.
Clearly, Lisa doesn’t think that’s enough. In new court documents Lisa is asking that Lenny provide her with alimony stating that she was the “primary homemaker” throughout their marriage.
“[Lenny] has significant and substantial assets and earns millions of dollars a year as [a] successful plastic surgeon,” the documents state, adding that “without [Lenny’s] contribution, [Lisa] cannot provide the needs and necessities of life as they were established during the marriage,” documents obtained by Page Six read.
To maintain the lavish lifestyle that she and her children have been accustomed to, Lisa is also asking that Lenny pay for “non-covered medical, dental and eye care” for her. In addition, Lisa also wants to be awarded “temporary child support” and have Lenny be responsible for covering the children’s health insurance as well.
Furthermore, the documents state that Lisa wants “exclusive use and occupancy” of their marital home that she has refused to vacate, despite a prenuptial agreement that states she must vacate the home in the event of divorce.
Lisa feels there’s no need for Lenny to maintain any hold on the property as the documents claim Lenny “has the means to and has already established an alternate, luxurious residence.”
In response to Lisa’s filing, Lenny accused Lisa is blatantly lying, and he “currently pays for everything.”
“I pay for everything currently. I even paid for her recent vacation to Colorado with the kids, but instead of a ‘thank you,’ which I never expected, I get claims that I do not pay for child support or health insurance? Simply not true,” the famed plastic surgeon told the outlet, adding that Lisa’s “disparaging” tactics simply “don’t surprise me anymore.”
Lisa has refuted Lenny’s claims and has fired back asserting that her Dating-jody-glidden-as-divorce-from-lenny-has-no-end-in-sight-and-teases-rhom-season-5-reunion/”>boyfriend, Jody Glidden, was the one who financed the family’s trip.
“My top priority remains my children. To be clear, Lenny didn’t pay for any of my travel. My boyfriend took me on vacation and even spent money for my children’s travel and expenses as Lenny fought paying his share,” Lisa said.
Lisa and Lenny have been locked in contentious divorce proceedings ever since news broke that he was allegedly caught cheating with current girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa.
Though Lisa claims that Lenny repeatedly cheated on her during their marriage, Lenny maintains that there never was any infidelity.
A court Date has been set for April 19 to hear out Lisa’s aforementioned requests.
