Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are back on screen together in Netflix’s “Murder Mystery 2.” In the four years since their first adventure in 2019’s “Murder Mystery,” Aniston and Sandler’s characters, Audrey and Nick Spitz, are now full-blown detectives in the midst of launching their own agency. However, after struggling to get their business up and running, the married Couple land at the center of a major international investigation when their friend Maharaja is abducted at his wedding.

Of what makes working with each other so special, Aniston tells POPSUGAR, “Oh, we just love each other.” She notes: “We’ve had a history for 30 years.” “We’ve known each other a long time,” Sandler adds. “We love each other. We love each other’s families. We take care of each other, and it’s fun to be married to her in a movie.”

In addition to the Murder Mystery franchise, Sandler and Aniston previously starred in 2011’s rom-com “Just Go With It.” When it comes to their dream movie cast, the longtime pals say it would include them, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock. “We’re all switching bodies,” Sandler jokes.

“Well, we’ve got four of us, four girls. Maybe we do ‘Little Women?'” Aniston proposes. “They already did that. They did it well, but we could do the comedy of it.” Liking the idea, Sandler suggests doing a version that sees the women when they’re older. “I’m [Timothée] Chalamet when he’s older,” Sandler adds.

Aniston and Sandler also discuss some of their funniest on-set moments, the best style lessons they’ve learned from one another, and what they bought with their first paycheck from acting. Spoiler: Aniston’s big splurge was on a Mercedes that had a “for sale” sign for almost two years.
