Last week, Solomon dropped this awesome new rap track which features J Young MDK, titled “Bounce”, and also released this fired-up music video to accompany the track. This follows up Solomon’s feature on Jefee’s single “100k a month” and he later followed up this recent release with another feature on a Jefee track, this time on one titled “Blowing Up”, and it also follows up J Young MDK’s single “MR. NICE GUY (No More)”.

Solomon, full name Solomon Schewel, is a rapper, hip-hop artist, and social media influencer. He continues to be a huge force as he continues to consistently build up his career. Originally from Durham, North Carolina, he has moved to Miami, Florida, using the location as his home base. His music has hit a collection of people, allowing him to make a name for himself. His most-streamed track is his 2021 single “Moon” which features Baby Rich, with over half a million streams. His achievements to Date have been massive and he continues to prove that he is set to have an awesome career in the music industry with every single new release.

As for J Young MDK, real name Jermaine Carter, he is a singer-songwriter, rapper, actor, director, and producer, from Atlanta. There’s nothing this hard-working human being can’t do, and he started in music as a teen, winning a competitive freestyle radio contest. He is mentored by none other than Jamie Foxx, so it’s no surprise that J Young MDK is the rising star that he is. He’s released a total of four studio albums “Now Or Never” (2019), “Aqua” (2020), “Black” (2020), and “White” (2020), and he refused to let the pandemic prevent him from performing, deciding to find safe venues around the country that would allow him to showcase his music live on stage. His passion for his music led him to support Latto across the US on her 2022 777 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. He is set to release his fifth studio album, titled “Forever Young”, very soon. As for acting, he’s starred in Netflix’s “The App That Stole Christmas”, Apple’s “Feds Did a Sweep”, the Tupac biopic “All Eyez On Me”, and the upcoming film “Lola 2”; his first lead role was in the short independent film “Mixed Girl” and he also starred as Young Icey in VH-1’s “Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding” alongside the likes of Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, Tamar Braxton, Redman, Terrence Jenkins, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Serayah, and Jermaine Dupri. He also recently dropped a single alongside Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, BSB Boys, and Sam Pounds for Netflix’s “Dayshift” film, titled “BUD (Mowing Down Vamps)”. On top of all that, he’s the Official Ambassador for American Diabetes Association and he has partnered with Out of Dark (Suicide Prevention) his goal is to empower and reach 10k teens and young adults by end of 2023. If anything, all this proves that J Young MDK is hard working and certainly does not stop, especially with his highly anticipated fifth studio album on its way, alongside upcoming music videos and films.

Written by the artists themselves, Solomon and J Young MDK are total fire from start to finish in this catchy, rhythmic anthem, “Bounce”. The infectious hook sets the tone for the entire track allowing the rappers to build upon the flow and rhythm. Add that to their solid lyrical input and vocal delivery, and Solomon and J Young MDK have effortlessly proven themselves within this industry, with confidence, style, and passion. Their contrasting rap styles work well with one another, Solomon has a chilled relaxed flow while J Young MDK has an energetic, fast-paced style, which melds to truly make “Bounce” a hit. It’s quickly becoming a fan-favourite for its catchy chorus, which is destined to get stuck inside your head, and the hyped-up beat.

As for the music video, directed and filmed by Abraham Arrocha (xx1vibes), we watch Solomon and J Young MDK perform their “Bounce” track, giving rapper energy from the get-go, launching into the song and making sure the spotlight is on them the entire time – not the easiest thing to accomplish when there are two half-naked women next to the rappers (from Lustt Models). We see the two rappers perform on the drive of a huge property in front of a Lamborghini and a Ferrari, as well as in the cars themselves, and inside the kitchen of the house.
