Season 3 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is everything the fans could have wanted and more. The trip to Thailand is all about elegance, excursions, and plenty of egos (and maybe even a few elephants in the room). There’s been no shortage of drama amongst the group that ranges from Reasonable to Shady on the Gizelle Bryant scale. One familiar face who has been a significant player in the chaos is none other than Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney.
Leah was far from her RHUGT co-star’s favorite person on the trip. While Leah made a lot of enemies, she found a friend in Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard Bassett. Well, whenever Relationship-is-a-little-sketch/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Candiace took a break from calling out all things Porsha Williams. Leah and CandeeGal were two peas in a pod that defended each other left and right on the dramatic vacation. Even though the ladies are far away from Thailand now, the loyalty between the newfound friends hasn’t gone away.
According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Candiace didn’t like hearing some shade that some Real Housewives of Miami stars threw Leah’s way. In a Watch What Happens Live appearance, Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton weren’t shy about their dislike of Leah. The RHOM besties deviously declared they’d “never” go on a trip with Leah again. And doubled down that the RHONY star made the “worst first impression.” Ouch.
CandeeGal came to Leah’s rescue in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Essentially, she didn’t appreciate all of the unreasonable shade Leah has been getting. “Y’all are some haters! That is so nasty. Leah is a fun girl,” Candiace said. While I’m loving all of the drama RHUGT Season 3 has given us, it is also endearing to see that CandeePants and Leah formed a genuine friendship on the trip. And who says reality TV is all fake and superficial?
