Eye Makeup-wearers are excited about the launch of twenty/twenty beauty, the first ophthalmologist-founded and developed beauty line created by Oakland, New Jersey-based, veteran board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Diane Hilal-Campo, MD. twenty/twenty beauty promotes and preserves eye health thanks to formulas that contain only the cleanest ingredients. The collection, intended for daily use, has been ophthalmologist tested and approved, and is safe for both sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

After spending decades treating female patients struggling with dry eye and other painful conditions caused by makeup and beauty treatments, Dr. Hilal-Campo was inspired to start the line. “The scary reality is that the ingredients in many of your favorite eye makeup and lash treatment formulas – and the way you might apply them – can be quite harmful to the eyes,” said Dr. Hilal-Campo. “My fellow ophthalmology colleagues and I have all witnessed a steady surge of women struggling with dry eye disease, which we’ve anecdotally found to be caused by lifelong eye makeup use. With twenty/twenty beauty, I’ve developed the world’s first eye-care-forward beauty line, helping to enhance natural beauty while supporting vision health.”

The first two products to launch are:

Easy On The Eyes Daily Hygiene Facial Spray – A soothing Hypochlorous Acid mist that safely and gently cleanses and minimizes irritation of eyelashes, eyelids and the skin. Naturally kill bacteria and viruses, including strains that cause styes, Blepharitis, acne and even coronavirus. It can also calm Rosacea flare ups.

Get Growing Lash & Brow Serum – The majority of lash serums on the market use synthetic prostaglandins, which come with serious risks, like irritation, eyelid and iris darkening and even permanent fat atrophy. twenty/twenty beauty’s formulation helps support the growth of thicker, darker and healthier lashes and brows, but also works to minimize the symptoms of dry eye disease thanks to castor oil, coconut oil and argan oil. Additionally, the Get Growing Lash & Brow Serum comes in a pump format with disposable applicators, so you don’t risk infection by continually re-dipping the same applicator.

More products from the twenty/twenty beauty collection will launch throughout the summer, including creamy eyeshadow sticks and a liquid eyeliner that promotes longer-looking lashes.
