It goes without saying that GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards in partnership with Samsung would be a whole other level of glamorous. We’ve got to respect the name, right?
Every day, GLAMOUR celebrates women who advocate, entertain, trail-blaze, speak up, step up and express. We celebrate the women using their voices, platforms or performances to make a difference – whether they’re offering us insights or some much needed escapism.
The Women of the Year Awards, gives us a chance to pause and appreciate the gamechangers from across reform, the arts and sports who have have positively impacted us this year. And, we have to hand it to the winners and guests making their way across the red carpet, they did it in style.
Red velvet beauty has been picking up momentum among celebs like Selena Gomez and Meghan Fox with rich matte red shades seen across lips and hair and we saw it again on the Women of the Year red carpet with Halle Bailey, Munroe Bergdorf, Jess Hunt, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Jess Glynne all going for a delicious, luxurious red lip.
Witchy liner is the latest spin-off of the grunge girl movement and we saw plenty of graphic black liner from the likes of Ariana Debose, Laura Whitmore, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Bimini, AJ Odudu and Lottie Moss.
And among some notable Glam moments, Leomie Anderson served up the cutest Bratz ponytail moment, while Charli Howard was inspired by warrior women.
