MOST brides treat themselves to a glow-up before their wedding day – but some of the ladies who walked down the aisle on Married at First Sight have undergone radical makeovers.
And they’re not the only ones – some of this year’s grooms are also unrecognisable from a few years ago.

Peggy Rose Lawrence has had one of the most dramatic transformations.
It emerged she’d previously appeared on Take Me Out 10 years ago, when she sported jet black hair and a very different look.
Looking back at clips of her on Paddy McGuinness’ ITV dating show, it’s hard to believe it’s the same person.
While the Peggy we’ve been seeing on MAFS is blonde and quite demure, back then she wore a sparkling black lace corset and smokey eyes.
Here we take a look at other Married at First Sight UK stars who you probably wouldn’t have recognised before they found fame.
Adrienne Naylor
When Adrienne Naylor entered this year’s MAFS as one of the intruder couples, she immediately confessed she was obsessed with the gym.
She’s lost an impressive eight stone over the years, and regularly shows off her body transformation on Instagram.
In one post she shared a snap of her posing in a bikini on a boat prior to her weight loss, followed by a progress shot and a pic of her now boasting rippling abs.

Brad Skelly

There’s barely an inch of Brad Skelly that isn’t covered in tattoos.
But back in 2016, when he dated Charlotte Crosby on Celebs Go Dating, he wasn’t nearly as inked.
He also sported a shorter hairdo and kept his facial hair much shorter.
Laura Vaughan

Laura Vaughan also looks radically different in a throwback snap.
According to The Tab, the Chelsea girl spent around £1,000 on cosmetic surgery prior to her MAFS wedding to Arthur Poremba, reports The Tab.
She allegedly had fat dissolved from her chin area and sugar plum lip filler at the Contour Club in Hampshire.
In the past she has reportedly visited the same clinic to have anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler and skin boosters.
Mark Kiley

Another of this year’s MAFS stars who has lost a lot of weight is latecomer Mark Kiley.
He revealed he lost 5st last year, sharing a before and after shot to social media proudly flexing his muscles.
Mark captioned it: “I’ve been nervous about posting this as I’m quite shy.
“This is my #transformationtuesday post. Five stone weight loss last year which still shocks me every time I write it.”
He paid tribute to his trainer and said he is “excited to see what the next few months will bring”.
Thomas Kriaras

While some of his MAFS co-stars have shed weight, Thomas Kriaras has bulked up in the gym, and enjoys showing off his newfound bulk.
He shared a before picture of himself five years ago in a smart black suit with a grey T-shirt, next to a current shot posing topless in his kitchen, accentuating his muscles with a bicep curl.
He admitted: “I don’t recognise myself sometimes when I look back at old photos of myself.”
Erica Roberts

While Erica Roberts hasn’t changed as much as some of her cast mates, she has opted for a different hair colour.
Old pictures of the stunning Scot show her with bleach blonde locks, as opposed to the dark mane she’s been sporting on MAFS.
Luckily for her, she looks amazing with both styles!
Matt Pilmoor

Matt Pilmoor was matched with Adrienne due to their shared love of the gym, according to the MAFS experts.
And he too is not shy of sharing his eye-popping body transformation on social media.
The former competitive diver – who quit the sport after sustaining an injury – took up bodybuilding, which saw him go from a lean teen to a muscly machine.
He wrote on Instagram: “The grind never stops. Some journey it’s been. You can do anything with the right mindset.”
Nathaniel Valentine

He left the show in explosive fashion after his bride was caught ‘cheating’ with another groom.
Stylish Nathaniel rarely had a hair out of place on the show, but prior to his turn on MAFS, he looked radically different.
Back in 2014 he shared a ‘throwback’ snap of him partying with Will.i.am with a nose ring between his nostrils – and bearing an uncanny resemblance to the late rapper Tupac Shakur.
Georges Berthonneau

Like his bride, Georges also looked remarkably different in his younger days.
Prior to his coiffed side-parting, groomed goatie and bulky rugby-player physique, he sported a more slender frame and a much shorter hair do.
