Blac Chyna has been working very hard to change her ways in recent months. Of course, she ditched OnlyFans and all the money that came with that. She dissolved her facial fillers to go for a more natural look. Now, she’s working on her faith, too. Not only has she been refocusing on Christianity once again following last year’s impactful baptism, she also just got a doctorate degree in theology!!
Wait, WHAT?!
On Monday evening, Chyna took to Instagram to recount the major academic milestone. The 34-year-old reality TV alum explained to her 17 million followers how way back at the very start of this year, she received a “Doctorate of Liberal Arts” from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.
In fact, that’s pretty much exactly what her message read, like, verbatim. You can see that along with a picture of her diploma and a snap of her two children King, 10, and Dream, 7, in the post (below):
“On January 17, 2023 I got my Doctorate of Liberal Arts from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. Doctor Angela Renee White”
Wow!!
So, uh, congratulations? Aren’t doctorates usually like multi-year processes with serious study work, loads of published research, and a major dissertation at the end?? If Chyna was really doing all that in secret over the last few years, that would definitely be a surprise to us!!
Unless… maybe this isn’t quite the intense academic experience you might expect from, like, Harvard or Yale…

According to STSBC’s website, which suspiciously doesn’t even have a ‘.edu’ web address, the school boasts about teaching “the un-compromised Word of God” to all its students. The school description goes on to add:
“Through instruction at STSBC, men and women of God are prepared for worldwide Evangelism. STSBC is a training Center where students are taught and developed spiritually, physically, mentally and socially. Training for Christian growth is made available through weekly courses and skill building classes and workshops. At STSBC our teachers are spirit-filled, credentialed and compassionate educators. We are dedicated to preparing pastors, ministers, evangelists, missionaries and other five-fold ministry gifts for Christian service.We offer a variety of programs to help people step in to their God ordained purpose and destiny.”
Hmmm…
Immediately, thousands of commenters heaped a very (very, very) healthy dose of skepticism onto Chyna’s alleged academic achievement:
“this phony doctoral degree, they don’t require anything other than a high school diploma. How I know? I just called the phone number on the website and it’s a cellphone of a man who was outside walking his dog lol”
“She skipped from a GED to a doctoral degree… bless it.”
“Good for you. Your past does not define you. God is working through you.”
“Doctorate degree? So it means you had a bachelor and masters degree before? I’m confused”
“Congrats. But I just moved from Sacramento and I’ve never heard of that school”
“That’s not a real doctorate but okay…”
“Nope… doctorates are not obtained that quickly and where are the other 3 degrees”
“God takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it around for your good. Always”
“She might of paid for it, y’all know she ain’t that bright”
“I googled this place and a Mi Rancho super market and boost mobile store popped up…”
That last comment isn’t a joke, either. We checked the address given on the STSBC’s official website, too, and found it to be in a strip mall between a Boost Mobile store, the aforementioned Mi Rancho Supermercado, and a taco shop called Fuentes Food Truck.
Not exactly a traditional campus setting, but OK…
