The Bachelor alum Teddi Wright announced her engagement on April 6, 2023- barely three months after going public with her new Relationship. Identifying her new fiancé only as “Nicholas” — hopefully she knows his last name — Teddi believes she’s the “luckiest girl in the world.”
Even though she received Clayton Echard’s First Impression Rose on night one of The Bachelor, (lucky for her) it didn’t last. She made her exit from the show in week 7.
A few months later, Teddi packed her bags for Mexico to join the cast of Bachelor in Paradise. Admitting that she had a crush on former Bachelorette contestant Andrew Spencer, the surgical nurse was hoping to make a love connection with him. Sadly, the spark wasn’t there, so Teddi voluntarily removed herself from the show in week 2.
“I want to get married, and I want to have kids . . . I want to go home and move past this and find that person,” Teddi told producers when she left the show. She left without saying goodbye to anyone and didn’t attend the reunion. Even though Andrew later attempted to reach out, Teddi had already moved on.

Fast forward just a few months and Us Weekly reported that Teddi has found her person. Not only has she revealed his first name, but she’s posting pictures of his actual face on her Instagram. “So this is love,” she captioned a video of Nicholas’ proposal.
“I am engaged and feel so blessed I get to spend forever with my best friend,” she continued. “I’ve been crying for days since it’s happened and it still feels like a dream.”
“[C]an we take a moment for how good my fiancé (omg) . . . did on the ring,” the California native added. “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! . . . now let’s get me married!” Cute.
Bachelor Nation immediately began showering Teddi and Nicholas with congratulatory messages. Fellow BIP castmate Serene Russell commented, “So so happy you’ve found the kind of love you deserve I AM SOBBING.” Her fiancé Brandon Jones — who proposed to Serene on the BIP finale — added, “We love it” with clapping hands and champagne bottle emojis.
Bachelorette alum and BIP castmate Michael Allio put in his two cents, “Congrats @teddiwright ! So happy for you. Happiness looks good on ya!” Another Couple-jill-chin-and-jacob-rapini-have-split/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>BIP castmate, Jill Chin, added, “Omg! Congrats, Teddi. You deserve all the happiness in the world.”
When a fan pointed out that Teddi hadn’t yet announced her new fiancé’s name, the RN identified him only as “Nicholas.” She also commented that he doesn’t have social media. She also promised that she would try “to get him on camera more but [I] wanted to protect our relationship in the beginning!” She added, “I think the kids call this ‘private but not secret.’”
I’m wishing Teddi all the happiness she deserves. I really hope Nicholas is the man she thinks he is (after such a short time Dating). I just hope she figures out his last name before they tie the knot. Otherwise, Teddi will be living in a Carrie Underwood song.
