STRICTLY legend Craig Revel Horwood shared an epic video showing his transformation into a panto villain complete with stockings, suspenders and ginger wig.

The 58-year-old also heartbreakingly confirmed he will be taking over the role to fill in the shoes for Paul O’Grady in the show, who tragically died last month.

Sharing the sped up video with his Instagram followers, Craig looks incredible as he’s transformed from his usual appearance to the evil Ms Hanigan from the musical Annie.

Proving he’s a dab hand with a make-up brush, the TV judge showed off how he began his look applying the different products before slipping off his robe to get into a full corset, stocking, suspenders and wig.

He wrote on his post: “Come on down the @thealexbham to see the Fab-U-Lous @anniemusicaluk until 15th Apr.

“A massive thanks to @stacie_smith_hair_and_makeup and @jessfromwardrobe for helping to bring Aggie to life!”

His followers were quick to ask if he would be honouring the dates left after Paul O’Grady unexpectedly passed away on 28th March as he had been playing the role too.

Craig assured them that he would be doing all of the dates.

Fans were thrilled to hear the news, with one writing: “Look forward to seeing you in Liverpool, you will do Paul proud. RIP.”

“that’s great, we’ll be there on 29th….you will do him proud  it will be emotional,” added another panto fan.

A third person sweetly penned: “you are the only person who could. Best of luck x”

Some who had already seen the show were quick to heap praise on Craig for his performance.

One fan wrote underneath: “It was such a fantastic show! And so wonderful to meet you afterwards. Thank you. Good luck with the rest of the production.”

“Looking forward to seeing you and Miss H. again – a wonderful performance, not just a man in drag but a complete acting-skills tour-de-force, because you make her awful but believable,” enthused another follower.

While another added: “The show was incredible. Well done. Incredible tribute to Paul and well….your dancing in them shoes! Wow.”

Last month Craig revealed he would still be married to a woman and have children by now if his wife hadn’t left him.
