It’s been two and a half years since PLS&TY has released music and he is back with a bang as this breezy vocal dance track, “Party In My Head”, in collaboration with Lost Boy, is set to be the standout track on all party playlists. This follows-up PLS&TY’s VIP version of his single “Very Special” featuring Sean Kingston, and Lost Boy’s feature on Deorro’s single “Nobody Like You”.

PLS&TY, real name Tommy Leas, is a viral artist in the electronic dance music scene who has already amassed over 100 million streams across platforms – ignoring the fact that he reached over 1 billion streams for his feature in a Hershey’s chocolate television commercial. He continues to be a force to be reckoned with, having gone on to be remixed by Grammy-nominated Morgan Page, Rusko, Cazzette, Bondax, and YehMe2, as well as extensively touring top festivals such as Shaky Beats, Breakaway, Electric Forest, EDC Vegas, and more. After a run of singles over the years, PLS&TY dropped his debut EP, titled “Very Special”, which features global stars including Sean Kingston, Alex Aiono, and Wifisfuneral. He hasn’t released new music in the last two years, instead becoming an early adopter of NFT technology and has gone on to release various NFTs launching projects for the likes of Tony Hawk and Floyd Mayweather. The release of new music sees him gearing up to release his sophomore EP, titled “3 Days, 2 Nights” with “Party In My Head” being the lead single.

As for Lost Boy, whose real name is Dillon Deskin, he is a multi-talented artist, songwriter, and producer hailing from the Bay Area, now based in Los Angeles. He has a huge 33 million streams, across platforms, behind him as he rolls into 2023 with even more determination. He dropped his debut single “Poison” in 2017 which became a viral hit, in itself, going on to make such an impact that he ended up signing with Ultra Records. Since then, he’s gone on to work with the likes of gnash and Will Sparks and he has received countless plays and streams. He now plans to set down a different artistic path with plans to shape his music into a different genre and evolve his sound as a whole.

Talking about the track, PLS&TY said: “‘Party In My Head’ with Lost Boy is the lead single from my upcoming ‘3 Days, 2 Nights’ EP, and the first track that highlights a daytime theme/motif. Bringing a modified sound and lighthearted piano-house production, I hope you enjoy a blast of sunny, spring-break, feel-good vibes. It calls for listeners to remember that even in the darkest hours, we have a radiant place to escape within our imaginations.”

Written by Dillon Deskin, Nikolai Patrick Prainge, and Thomas Leas, whilst it has been produced by the latter, “Party In My Head” is a piano-led levelled-up dance track that combines PLS&TY’s smooth and slick vocals with an addictive melodic beat. The muted bassline blends perfectly with the rhythmic piano chords giving an epic chilled-summer vibe that is perfect as the seasons change and the warmer weather comes in. Lyrically, the song delves into falling in love and how one person can have a massive effect on you, and PLS&TY’s sultry soulful vocals, compliment the easy-listening energy effortlessly and truly allows the entire song to shine as a whole. This is our beach anthem for 2023, sure to make an impact this summer.
