Lindsay Lohan continues to be the most Pinteresting celebrity on Instagram, following up her delightfully basic onesie-based pregnancy announcement with a baby shower so low-key it could have been thrown for one of your sorority sisters. Like, not the one who landed a weather girl position in a second-tier metropolitan area, either—one of the normies.
Lohan, who confirmed her pending bundle of joy with husband Bader Shammas in March, was toasted at a celebrity baby shower that fits the title simply because she is a celebrity and it was a baby shower. She gathered with family and friends in what looks to be a pretty standard New York City restaurant private room, smiling in a photo she posted to her Instagram story (not even the grid!) alongside mom Dina Lohan and sister Ali Lohan, as well as a one-tier cake, white porcelain bunny decoration, and Amazon-standard “Oh, baby!” table standee. A sticker Lohan added to the snap reminds viewers to “take the time to smile,” if any fans would like to add that to their daily to-do list, or perhaps it is already to-done. Her brother, Dakota Lohan, of recent “just hanging out doing undereye patches with my sister” renown, was also in attendance to toast his sibling and meander around New York with the fam.
Known Lohan associates Samantha Pariente and Juliet Angus also posted that they showed up for the celebration.
And that’s…about all we know. There was cake, and a handful of people, one of them Lindsay Lohan, were there to eat it. And you know what? It’s honestly refreshing. Not a flower crown or gold-plated baby pram to be found.

When Taylor Swift threw one for Jamie King, there was a photo booth, which celebrity guests galore took advantage of. Here, the forecast is of scattered Instagram stories, already hitting the 24-hour expiration point, memorialized only in screenshots of Cody making fun of Ali for taking pictures of her entrée.
Given Lohan’s wild-child past, it’s refreshing that she’s continuing on this normie path to parenthood, not a whiff of Bimbo Summit to be found. Granted, definitions of “normie” do vary—she does still call Dubai a home base and is making a largely well-received return to acting, but still.
