Kyle Richards addressed the “fake stories” and “lies” about her marriage, which is allegedly being discussed on the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She also had a message for her co-stars: “Bring it on.”
On the same evening, Kyle shared that she hasn’t seen alum Lisa Rinna since their “falling out” last season when the co-star made multiple accusations against Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton.
Speaking with Page Six, Kyle revealed that a certain paparazzi photo was the impetus for castmates questioning her Relationship with husband Mauricio.
“It started all from a stupid picture of me without a ring on,” Kyle explained, who also shared why she wasn’t wearing one.
“A, I haven’t been wearing my big diamond ring, because there’s a lot of crime these days and I’m like, ‘I’m not comfortable,’” said the star. “And B, I had just come from the gym lifting weights, so I was like, ‘That thing sparked that?’ I don’t know.”
She seemed to be addressing an image taken earlier this year after Kyle departed her gym wearing a black tank top, blue leggings – and no ring.
Kyle claimed she and Mauricio are “unbothered,” though they’ve “struggled” in the past when castmates previously questioned their marriage.
“When this stuff would come up before, I would like, cry and I was devastated,” said Kyle. “But now, I’m more like, ‘OK, I’ve done this before. Let’s do this. Bring it on. Come on. Let’s see what you got for me here.’”
Though unbothered, Kyle hinted that she’s preparing for the backlash.
“Obviously, you don’t love that because when the show airs in six months, I will be dealing with this and people are going to be talking again and more fake stories and lies. It’s just really frustrating.”
She also addressed her relationship with former castmate Lisa Rinna, who exited the show before the current season began filming.
“Uh, well, we had sort of a falling out last season with what happened with my sister, so obviously, that changed a lot of things,” she explained. “I haven’t seen her, but we’ve sent each other text messages and DMs.”
Kyle shared that she “reached out” after learning about Lisa’s departure from RHOBH, but she expressed that Lisa’s actions toward Kathy “changed a lot of things” about Kyle and Lisa’s friendship.
“I don’t like to hold onto any negativity,” Kyle clarified. “I just want to move on from that.”
Regarding her (strained) relationship with Kathy, Kyle added, “Well, we’re family. You know, it’s happened before, and we’ve fixed things.”
