Party time! Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her 44th birthday with friends and family at a bowling alley — and it looks like she had a night to remember.
The Poosh founder posted a series of snaps from the event via Instagram on Thursday, April 20, sharing photos of herself spending time with husband Travis Barker, mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian. Kourtney’s kids Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, were in attendance as well, though her eldest son, Mason, 13, wasn’t pictured. (The California native shares her three children with ex Scott Disick.)
For her party look, Kourtney chose a tiara that read “Birthday Girl” paired with printed pants and a fur-trimmed jacket worn over a crop top. In one photo, she blew out her candles with help from Reign, who matched his mom’s ’90s vibe in a Space Jam T-shirt.
Kim, 42, chose jeans, a black bustier and a duster jacket, but the bigger news was her birthday card, which read: “I’m proud to call you my sister. Hopefully this makes up for all the other things I’ve called you.” Kourtney seemingly appreciated the cheeky message, sharing a photo of her sister giving her the card and a second shot showing a closeup of the front.
“I was really proud of my card lol,” the Selfish author quipped in the comments section of her eldest sibling’s post.
The party wasn’t just a family Affair, though, as Khadijah Haqq and Jen Atkin both shared their own photos and videos from the occasion. The hair guru, 43, posted a closeup of Kourtney’s hair, which was done up in a loose bun fastened with metal clips. Haqq, 40, gave her followers a glimpse of the moment attendees sang the birthday song to Kourtney, who had two cakes: a traditional round dessert with red flowers and a larger sheet cake decorated with a photo of the birthday girl and her husband, 47.
The celebration came days after Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, responded to a social media commenter slamming Kourtney’s Hulu wedding special, Til Death Do Us Part. “I hope that you get a huge apology some day for what was said on that exploitative, money grabbing, circus. ‘He’s been through Hell’ ‘Kourtney has filled a void for me.’ #parentalalienationawareness,” a follower wrote in the comments section of one of Moakler’s recent Instagram photos. The former pageant queen, 48, seemingly showed support for the post by “liking” it.
When another follower questioned Relationship-timeline/”>Kourtney calling herself “a mom of 6,” Moakler replied, “She post[s] more of my kids then [SIC] her own lol.”
The Hollywood Exes alum and Barker, who divorced in 2008, are the parents of son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 17. The Blink-182 drummer is also the stepdad of Atiana De La Hoya, 24, whom Moakler shares with ex Oscar De La Hoya.
After Moakler’s Instagram activity made headlines, Kourtney shared a Bible verse via her Instagram Story and encouraged her followers to “spread positivity. The Hulu personality continued: “Let’s do better if not for the world, for yourself, for your children, for your friends and family. I promise the negativity and hate will not make you feel happier.”
