Jackie Talks Unaired “Fight” Between Teresa & Dolores

RHONJ' Jackie Goldschneider Talks Off-Camera "Fight" Between Dolores and Teresa as Cast Reacts to Engagement Party Absence and Teresa Explains Last-Minute Bridesmaid Invites

Jackie Goldschneider claims Dolores Catania wasn’t invited to Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelasengagement party because they were involved in an off-camera “fight.”

Following Relationship-with-dina-plus-danielle-confronts-rachel-jen-and-dolores-call-a-truce/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Tuesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, during which Dolores and Jennifer Aydin scored last-minute invites to Teresa’s bridal party, Jackie spoke of their supposed feud as the rest of the cast reacted to the drama surrounding Teresa’s bridesmaid lineup.

“I’ve heard that Dolores and Teresa had a fight, and that’s why she wasn’t at the engagement party. I think Dolores was overheard saying something, and Teresa found out, and they got in a fight about it,” Jackie revealed on the April 4 episode of the RHONJ: After Show.

Then, as Melissa Gorga noted that Dolores and Dina Manzo, who was in attendance at the event, “don’t get along,” Margaret Josephs wondered why Dolores would say “yes” to Teresa’s late invite, especially after it came only once Dina pulled out of her wedding.

“What’s going on here? Why would you say ‘yes’ to this?” she asked. “[Teresa] didn’t want you the first time. You weren’t even at the engagement party. There’s endless reasons that she wasn’t at the engagement party that we’ve heard go around.”

“Dolores should’ve been like, in the first round of ask,” Melissa agreed. “She was the second round of ask. I know Dina was originally supposed to be in it, and then when Dina was no longer going to come or be in it, then Dolores was asked.”

According to Teresa, she didn’t initially plan to have bridesmaids at all.

“At first, I thought [Luis Ruelas and I] were just gonna have our children in the wedding. I’m like, ‘Babe, we’re just gonna have our kids in the wedding?’ ‘No, babe, I wanna have Jo, Fernanda, his two partners,’ so then I’m like, ‘Oh okay,’ so then I start adding people,” she explained, insisting to Dolores, “That’s how it was.”

And, despite not being asked right away, Dolores said she “was excited” and “happy” to be included.

“I think it’s nice,” Rachel Fuda added of the delayed invites to Dolores and Jennifer. “She asked [Melissa] too.”

“Not because she wanted to,” Melissa replied.

As RHONJ fans will recall, Teresa announced she wouldn’t include her sister-in-law Melissa in her bridal party during an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

“When Andy asked her that question she didn’t want to say ‘yes’ because then that would pigeonhole her into holding it. So she just said, ‘No,’” Jennifer said of Teresa’s revelation.

But later, after realizing she wanted to “show [Dolores and Jennifer] how much [she loves] them,” Teresa had a change of heart — a last-minute one that Dolores said she’s “totally” okay with.

“Totally. Mm-hm,” Dolores insisted. “I live in the moment, and I was living for her moment and her being happy, and really that’s it, and I was so happy to be a part of it.”

“I think better late than never. Sometimes she’s a little late to the game,” Jennifer agreed.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
