Here’s What You Might Have Missed On Social Media This Week

Hi there, and welcome back to another week of Reality Tea’s social media roundup. Although the Housewives have yet to engage in many back-and-forths online this past week, we still have quite a few things to discuss. Let’s jump right in.

Tamika Scott Has Receipts

A while back, Kandi Burruss announced she was working on a few new projects for Bravo. Of course, we had Kandi & The Gang (which deserved a second season), and at the time, SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B was in production

Since March 2023, fans have followed as these two iconic groups sing, dance, and rehearse night and day to put on a fantastic comeback show — but not without drama

In the first episode, “Let’s Make History,” sisters and bandmates Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott try to work out their differences over past disagreements. During their conversation, which turned into a heated argument, Tamkia dropped a bomb and revealed that Lotcha and her husband, Rocky Bivens, allegedly stole $30,000 from her.

After LaTocha and Rocky denied Tamika’s claims on camera and in recent interviews, Tamika took to YouTube to drop her own receipts. From text message screenshots to altered contracts, it’s safe to say Xscape will not be touring as a foursome anytime soon. And LaTocha won’t be getting an apology- ever.

Kelly Bensimon Takes Us Back To Early RHONY

In a new TikTok postKelly Bensimon poked fun at her intro scene on the Real Housewives of New York City Season 2. As she ran through the streets of NYC with yellow taxi cabs zipping by her in 2009, she took us back to that moment wearing an all-black fit with colorful Nike Metcon Free Runs in 2023. For any of you struggling to imagine this moment, a fan account tweeted this side-by-side to help jog your memory.

Joe Gorga’s Weekly Dose Of Inspiration

Once again, Joe Gorga from the Real Housewives of New Jersey is spamming people’s Instagram feeds with his “inspirational” quotes. At this point, it is impossible to take him seriously. But laughing at him pretending to be the “Zen Wen” of Jersey absolutely sends me into spirals.

Last week, Joe advised his followers to drink more water. “You’ll be too busy peeing to worry about other people’s opinions,” he said. And this week, he’s reminding us fans why some find him completely unbearable.

This week, according to Joe, every woman dreams of a man who will take her into his arms, throw her on the bed, and… you guessed it — clean the entire house while she sleeps. Oh, god. Please, Joe, just make it stop. This nice guy’s act is not fooling anybody — especially me. Don’t forget; we remember you flipping the switch on Teresa Giudice at your son’s christening during your first season

Garcelle The Writer

For those hardcore Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans, you may remember Garcelle Beauvais’ initial memoir announcement a few years ago. It came right after the actress’ first two seasons on the long-standing Bravo show. In it, she detailed her journey from Haiti to Hollywood. She also wrote about her RHOBH co-stars, Lisa Rinna, and her daughter.

When the trailer for Season 12 droppedGarcelle sent the audience into a frenzy when the world saw her tell Erika Jayne that if she comes across in a poor light, that has nothing to do with her. And everything to do with Erika. Later, she used that line on her Instagram to promote her book. “You know how else you can look bad all on your own? By not pre-ordering your copy of #LoveMeAsIAmbefore it comes out on Tuesday,” she wrote.

Clearly, Garcelle’s caption was fun shade, but did her co-stars see it that way? In April 2022, Erika posted a video of what fans believed was her pitching Garcelle’s book, Love Me As I Am, into the trash. But during the RHOBH Season 12 reunion, Rinna let the cat out of the bag and told the rest of her cast that she tossed G’s book — not Erika.

But despite their attempts to dim Garcelle’s light, the Real Housewives vet continued to shine bright. In a new Twitter post, Garcelle let her followers know her book is now available to purchase in paperback.

Mazel (as Andy Cohen would say), Garcelle!
