Dolores Catania Reveals the Truth Behind her Issues With Dina Manzo Plus, Fans React to Dolores’ Ozempic Confession While Andy Cohen Responds to Backlash for ‘Praising’ Housewives Use of the Weight Loss Drug

Dolores Catania spilled some major tea on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live. Not only did the RHONJ star dish on her friendship fallout with Dina Manzo, she also revealed that she’s taking the weight loss drug Ozempic.

Turns out fans had quite a lot to say about Dolores’ admission however it was Andy Cohen, who took the most heat from Bravo fans. The Big Daddy of Bravo received loads of backlash for “praising” the Housewives who have lost weight by using Ozempic.

Let’s breakdown everything you need to know.

To start, let’s dish on Dolores revealing the truth behind issues with Dina.

“There are no issues,” Dolores insisted on the April 4 episode of WWHL. “We just kinda separated ways and our friendship just dissipated. She stayed on the show; I wasn’t on the show. And she had moved and all this stuff.”

Dolores confirmed to Andy that she has no interest in talking about Dina on RHONJ as fans saw on Tuesdays episode of the show. The 52-year-old refused to discuss Dina in her confessional after her decision to skip Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas’ wedding was brought up on RHONJ.

She claims that she and Dina “never got in a fight.”

“That’s the truth. We never got in a fight. I haven’t seen her or talked to her in like 10 years. Maybe once at Teresa’s mom’s funeral,” Dolores explained, adding that she doesn’t know what if anything went down between Dina and Teresa amid speculation they had a friendship fallout last summer.

Meanwhile, Dolores also confirmed that she’s been taking Ozempic, well actually she’s taking Mounjaro, for the past six weeks.

Fans had a mixed reaction to Dolores’ confession. Some fans praised Dolores for being open and honest while other s felt it was setting a bad example for Bravo fans.

“Dolores admits to being on Ozempic ahead of the Jersey reunion. Unhealthy and triggering,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“They are on tv, heavily scrutinized for their appearance, of course they’d take a weight loss peptide if available. Ozempic is the brand name people know, but there’s other brands on the market that are sold at wellness centers. A lot of times it’s paired with HRT for Menopause,” another fan tweeted.

A third fan thought Dolores’ honesty was “refreshing” and complimented Andy for not “buying into the whole new gym routine and watching what I eat BS certain people” spew about their recent weight loss.

Speaking of Andy, he found himself in hot water following Tuesday’s episode of WWHL. Bravo fans slammed him for “praising” thinness and supporting the Housewives using weight loss medication to drop unwanted pounds.

On Wednesday’s episode of Andy’s SiriusXM Radio Andy show, he read a DM from one Bravo fan, who asked him to “stop congratulating” Bravolebs for “looking so thin and asking if they’re taking Ozempic.”

The message also read: “Tonight was the third ‘Watch What Happens Live’ guest who I’ve heard you praise for losing weight and inquiring about Ozempic.”

Andy then said,  “Well you know what? This woman – she’s right.”

“I said to [Dolores], ‘You look great,’ and she said, ‘Yeah, I lost weight.’ I go ‘Ozempy?’ She said, ‘Yup you better believe it!’” he explained. “I was happy that she told the truth about it by the way, because there are so many people who aren’t.”

“Dolores just admitted to using Ozempic for weight loss on #WWHL like it was no big deal… Then Andy & her joked that she wasn’t the only housewife doing it… WTF is going on at Bravo?!?!,” one fan tweeted.

“How about we stop praising Bravolebrities for using Ozempic to lose a little weight (which in turn created supply shortages and prevented non-celebrities who really needed the medication),” a second fan wrote.

A third fan added, “Don’t even wanna watch #rhnoj anymore after what dolores said on @BravoWWHL ab[out] ozempic ESPECIALLY when Andy said half the cast was on it too it’s not f–king funny it’s gross.”

To conclude, Andy said he is unsure how to address weight loss and Ozempic use with his guests on WWHL moving forward.

He explained, “I’m trying to deliver the goods for my audience watching. I mean, if Dolores shows up looking 15 pounds lighter, I gotta find out how it happened.”

RHONJ airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
