Chris Appleton is speaking out for the first time since it was revealed that he’s engaged!
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the 39-year-old celebrity hairstylist recently got engaged to You and The White Lotus actor Lukas Gage.
While attending the WWD LA Beauty forum on Thursday (April 6), Chris shared what he’s looking forward to the most about his and 27-year-old actor’s wedding day.

“Oh god, I’d like to think I’d get a day off!” Chris joked to E! News.
“It’s actually just about love and love is just so special,” Chris continued. “And I think to see someone find love is really heartfelt. It’s such a fun thing to be a part of and its a happy moment. Whereas you know, sometimes when you’re doing a red carpet and stuff is more stressful because a lot of pressure.”
“But a wedding is completely different,” Chris added.
Chris – who works closely with stars including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Dua Lipa – went on to say that despite his busy career, he’s trying to enjoy the most out of life.
“I’m all about fun. I mean, you know, I worked really hard. And [work is] a big focus for me, it always has been my whole life,” Chris explained. “But I’m definitely, enjoying myself and taking some time to just enjoy life. And I think that’s really important as well. It’s good to have a balance.”
Chris and Lukas first went public with their Relationship in February when Dating-see-their-hot-vacation-photos-together/”>they shared photos of themselves on a romantic vacation.
Lukas recently gushed about Chris in a new interview.
