Mauricio Umansky Accuses RHOBH Cast of Making Kyle Divorce Rumors a Storyline, Talks Ozempic, and Why He Attends Girls' Trips, Plus New Book

Mauricio Umansky opened up about the latest happenings of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills while promoting his new book, The Dealmaker: How to Succeed in Business & Life Through Dedication, Determination & Disruption, on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s podcast on Monday.

After first teasing his publication, Mauricio, who also stars on Buying Beverly Hills, dished on his participation with girls trips, the ongoing claims regarding wife Kyle Richardsweight loss, and the RHOBH cast’s decision to bring up false divorce rumors amid filming on season 13.

It’s about life lessons, insights through stories that I’ve experienced throughout my life, starting from when I was a child and things that have changed me but it’s not a how to succeed book or three steps to success of five steps to being the best salesman on the planet,” Mauricio explained on the April 10 episode of Two Ts in a Pod. “It’s more of like, a bunch of storytelling, lessons that I learned that hopefully the readers will learn something from.”

According to Mauricio, he’s wanted to write a book for some time. So, after establishing his successful real estate firm, The Agency, which boasts over 65 offices around the world and 2,000 salespeople, he felt that it was the right time.

“I’m constantly teaching and advising and consulting and I don’t like to consult through, ‘Here’s what you need to do,’ I like to advise through my experiences and storytelling,” he revealed. “And obviously being now on two television shows and having an audience, I think it’s the right timing in order to get the book out there and to make sure people read it.”

Moving on to RHOBH, Mauricio said he doesn’t “have a least favorite” season before sharing why he’s often a part of the ladies’ trips.

“The Aspen thing, to me, we’re all going to Aspen, it’s my favorite place in the world. I planned on being there anyway and that’s just the coincidence of me being there,” he stated. “I wanna go ski and I wanna do my thing. I try to stay out of their way and not film but every once in a while you get in there.”

As for his appearance on the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, he claims it “was a total coincidence” that he ended up in Turks and Caicos at the time season one was filmed.

“That worked out kinda fun and gratuitous for both of us. But I was there opening up my Turks and Caicos office. We got them their space and I actually had my opening and my trip planned long before [RHUGT],” Mauricio explained.

Mauricio then defended Tattoo/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Kyle’s weight loss, saying, “She looks great,” amid ongoing claims about her potentially using Ozempic. He even joked that he takes Ozempic “twice a day.”

Also on the podcast, Mauricio commented on allegations of an impending divorce between him and Kyle, revealing that the ladies of RHOBH turned the bogus reports into a storyline on the new season.

“We’re not getting divorced. It kinda sucks. I mean, it’s so dumb,” Mauricio complained. “We addressed it. It was addressed by the girls. They brought it up to Kyle, which is kinda b-tchy and super mean because particularly the girls, they know what’s going on, and they know exactly what it’s all about. They’ve all had a photograph like that taken. They know that story is BS and for them to bring it on and make it more real, bring it to the show… make it more relevant, particularly when they know it’s not relevant, just kinda sucks.”

“I don’t expect [Kyle] to wear her ring next time she’s [working out] coming from the yoga lesson,” he added, referencing a report that used Kyle’s missing ring as supposed “proof” of a split.
