Ariana Madix‘s BFF isn’t going to let Tom Sandoval get away with that disgusting joke!

As you know, the TomTom co-founder went on Howie Mandel‘s podcast on Tuesday and it’s caused quite the uproar. He’s been called out for allegedly lying on the pod — and it’s been reported he could even get fired because he blindsided his Bravo bosses with the “random” interview! The mayhem caused by Howie Mandel Does Stuff isn’t over yet, though…

While speaking with Howie, the Vanderpump Rules star made an inappropriate joke to try and ease the tense conversation and it did not land well. The 67-year-old comedian — who for whatever reason wants us to hear Tom out — said in encouragement:

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

To which the disgraced reality star replied:

“Like radiation.”

Super awful joke. And he realized that far too late, quickly adding on a “bad joke” to try and brush past it. But one person who didn’t let it slide was his ex’s best friend Jared Lipscomb, who has been battling acute myeloid leukemia since 2019.

In a video posted to Instagram Thursday, the Makeup artist called the Schwartz & Sandy‘s co-founder “scum” for his unruly joke:

“My blood is boiling, what a f**king coward, how dare he? I don’t care if it’s a joke in poor taste. F**k you. You are weak to compare what people go through in radiation during treatment … you are scum.”

So sad! Tom can be seen in a lot of videos and photos posted to Jared’s account, it’s got to hurt when someone you once considered a friend would make such an insensitive joke…

In the clip, Jared continued on to say he went through 12 rounds of chemotherapy radiation and heartbreakingly confessed even at times felt like it was “going to kill” him. Seething, he said:

“I am so disgusted by this video and his little quip … I can’t even believe I considered you a friend. F**k you.”

He finished up the video by giving a middle finger to the 39-year-old and said he’d be shifting his focus to his “amazing friend who has been by my side along with so many other friends during my cancer journey” — AKA Ariana, who he says treated him a lot differently than Tom:

“The only two times this f**ker showed up [during my cancer journey] was when there was cameras around.”

He went as far as to caption the emotional video:

“Disgraceful. Shameful. Disgusted. #scumdevil”

Damn!

Such an awful thing for Tom to say, whether he meant it as a joke or not — it wasn’t funny in any way! And he hurt another person in the process. Ugh.
