Former RHOM Star Joanna Krupa's Husband, Robert Nunes, Files for Divorce After Four Years of Marriage, Read Joanna's Statement Here

Former Real Housewives of Miami star, Joanna Krupa and husband, Robert Nunes, are calling it quits after four years of marriage.

Joanna posted the following statement to her Instagram page on Monday March 27th asking for privacy as the Couple move forward in dissolving their union.

“My husband and I have made a joint decision to get separated. We have a private agreement between us that is our business, and we are moving forward as friends and still live daily as a family for our daughter whom we both place before ourselves. For the sake of my family, I will not comment further on this only to say each of us is committed to assuring the other’s happiness so we can be the best parents possible as we move forward.”

While Joanna is staying mum on the details of the “separation”, according to court documents obtained by Page Six, Robert filed for divorce on March 24th in Los Angeles, California. He claims the two have been separated since early January, listing the official separation Date as January 2nd, 2023.

Robert is citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and is asking the courts to terminate its ability to enforce spousal support that could potentially be awarded to Joanna. However, he is currently not contesting the courts power to decide how the couple’s marital assets should be divided.

The couple wed in July 2018 in a ceremony held in Poland, and the two share 3-year-old daughter, Asha-Leigh. Robert is requesting joint legal and physical custody of Asha.

In addition, the documents make no mention of any prenuptial agreement that could affect the estranged couple’s divorce outcome.

Joanna appeared as an original RHOM Housewife during the franchise’s inaugural run from 2013 to 2017 and was a polarizing figure among fans. Since RHOM’s subsequent reboot, some fans called for Joanna’s return, however, the star has expressed no desire to return to the show.

“In 8 years, I have grown a lot as a person and my priorities in life have changed especially after having an amazing little girl. I love to work, I have great and long-lasting TV shows in Poland, and continue doing other projects,” she previously stated on social media.
